I used to be a huge blackjack player.

You have to learn how to count cards, just using basic strategy is a huge fail. You have to have a good idea as to what kind of configuration that shoe is in. So playing those stupid auto shuffler machines is a huge fail. I generally let 50-60% of the shoe be dealt out before you start betting big so you can know if there are a good percentage of good cards left. The other way works too. So sometimes I leave midway through the game even if i was winning.

So if you start losing because you are being dealt cards like 14's or 15's don't leave just yet. If the rest of the shoe is around 50% face cards or value cards start betting big. You have to find the right shoe. Don't fall prey to fallacies or biases. If you lost then you lost. Find the right shoe and bet BIG. This is the key. If you go in blindly then you will just lose.

Some of my biggest winnings were because I followed this strategy. It does take work and concentration and at first is not easy.

You do have to learn how to do math in your head and quickly. Its all about probabilities.
