So, while working on my fastlane, I've run into this problem with some suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, etc. While I'm trying to setup shop with an online store, they will not do business with you unless you have a b&m location.
I thought I'd post this simple trick I've found to get around this requirement to hopefully help those that encounter the same problem.
A UPS Store "Mailbox"
It cost $12.50 a month and unlike a PO Box you get a full address.
When I first started submitting wholesale applications with the business address the same as the owners home address some would get rejected for obvious reasons. (It seems they didn't believe I lived above/in the back of my retail location like I had hoped.)
So essentially what I do now is get a UPS Store "Mailbox" and list this address as my HOME ADDRESS.
The reason being is, I need inventory to be shipped to my home, not to UPS where it's not going to fit in my tiny little box.
This works out because any true paper mail that a wholesaler may send to the owners home address is perfect for your UPS "Mailbox" and inventory comes to where you really need it, your home.
So that's it, nothing to fancy, but hopefully it helps someone that sees this.
