Hello everyone! I recently discovered this forum and since finding it I have been pouring over the different threads and information that this site has to offer. I decided it was time to make an account of my own, and so here is my formal introduction. I haven't actually read The Millionaire Fastlane, though I did order the book, so I'll be reading it very shortly- so bare with me in the mean time!
I am 20 years old from Plano, TX (just North of Dallas), and I am a soon-to-be fast-food franchisee. From what I've read on the forum, it seems as though there are a lot of mixed feelings about franchises. For me, my ultimate goal is to own hundreds of franchises, and I plan on doing this by buying poorly run franchises, and turning them into profitable businesses. I know it is much easier said than done, but I believe I can get there- in the mean time, I am concentrating on getting my first franchise up and running.
Up until now, my business endeavors have been surrounded by investing. I started investing in the stock market when I was 16, and have since expanded into real-estate and rental properties. I am by no means an expert trader- I read investing forums, books, and news articles for hours everyday, because I have so much more to learn. But, so far I have been very happy with my investments.
I think that this forum and all of it's members is a perfect opportunity for me to learn from people who are much better than myself, and I am looking forward to it! Thanks everyone!
