Hello everyone,
I am probably not like most in this forum because I am a young mom from Denver. I read MJ's book in Fall 2013 and I'm reading it again. Ever since I was a senior in high school, I've been reading books on business. What's funny is I took a financial literacy class at a alternative school. Prior, I went to two traditional high schools that didn't have a class like that. In financial literacy, my final was to read 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' and write a essay. After, I've wanted to be a entrepreneur ever since. I
guess I'm a wantrepenenur for now.
Anyways I'm here because I really want to learn from you guys.. My goal is to have financial freedom for my family and give back to families who are in poverty. I'm from a very small family and my mother was a young mother as well. I know I've made wrong choices, but I'm trying to make the right ones. However, I have no ideas for a business. I'm so lost and I have barely any goals. Can't decide if I want to go back to college (I went for a year). I'm just working at a govt job for six, 12 hour days to take care of my family. One of the changes I am gladly making is changing my environment. For three long years I've lived with my child's grandmother with the father. Not only is it us, but his 3 siblings and they're grown. All this time I've been listening to "oh the rich are greedy, go to college to get a great job, and oh I can't wait to get this job so I can ...." Lol. Not only do I have to hear it, but my daughter as well!
