I recently though tthis to myself. How do you target, focus on what "entrepreneurship" is, and work smart at it not hard?
This may seem simple but its not.
Want to be the best programmer in the world, we know you need to learn it and practice.
Want to be the best football player in the world, we know you need to work out, study plays, and practice.
Every successful person knows how important time is so how do we be efficient at learning to be an entrepreneur?
I think back at all the failed businesses i had which were definitely the best thing that ever happened to me but it took too long, i should have learned faster and kept trying to do something smarter and better.
Once my personality went to never being content and i started to realize how important time is (thanx MJ) i got scared and it pushed me to become obsessed with being a better entrepreneur?
So how do we work smarter, not harder at increasing our chances of becoming the best?
Networking is important.. do we keep a specific amount of time open per week to network?
Reading.. Do we set aside time to read case studies on other businesses?
I do not believe the answer would be go out and learn, try to open businesses, its part of what needs to be done but that's not strategic its just hard work like digging a hole with a shovel instead of building a machine to do it 1000 times faster.
Going out without experience or knowledge like i did when i was young was a huge learning curve, i learned alot that way, but again it took too long. I was lucky because i started so young, but if i started out older im not sure it ever would of worked out, i might have given up due to the fact that it is harder to make the learning curve sacrifices when you have a family and more obligations.
