This is what I've been thinking about. I'm still trying to get started, but I think this is what builds momentum. A few small wins will get the ball rolling, but it's hard to see the future payoff when it's not always certain to happen.

I've always believed that we have to pay a toll for the success we want. Mr. DeMarco talks about it in his book as well.

Also remember this, throughout history many, many, times. Success came to those just as they were about to give up but decided not to.

Every time I've thought about giving up I ask myself "Is the success I want right behind the door?"

Think about why you are doing what you are doing. I do not know what it is for you. But for me its

- Not wanting to let my people down

- Wanting to live the life I want

- Thinking about how I grew up

- Not wanting to be a slave to someone or company

There is more to life than being a slave 40 hours a week for shitty a$$ pay and sucking up to a a**hole boss.

Look internally for motivation. To be honest with you, most people do not give a F*ck about you or me. No one cares what you want. People only care what you can do for them. It's a nasty world, you either beat life down or life beats you down. I let that be my motivation.
