Could be many reasons, from timing to they didn't read your message, but negative skew is very specific.
For example, I just canceled my massage therapy club because I was unable to reliabily get to the clinic.
When I tried to cancel, it was a shitshow -- they basically told me that if I cancel, the 5 credits (5 massages) I already paid for but haven't yet used, would be forfeited. And then I would be charged a cancel fee on top of it. I told the woman that this isn't a cancellation policy, it was fraud.
The resolution was I could not cancel and had to suspend the account, all so I could use the massages I already paid for.
When the credits hit zero, now I know I will NEVER use this company again, or go there for a massage.
After, they will be getting a nasty review -- despite delivering a good product.
