In February, I created an MVP SaaS B2B in a domain I'm not very familiar with, but my family has a large business in it.
My marketing consisted of posting on a few Facebook groups.
Recently, I spent a few days working on a second, extended version that I can target to a much larger group of customers, and I posted it to a lot more Facebook groups.
To clarify — I haven’t been working on the product continuously since February. Back then, I posted, talked a bit with people, and now I'm doing something similar.
Result: one customer is paying for the lowest plan because they have a small company, and one for the medium plan. In the end, I break even, considering the cost of the server.
50 people created a free account, clicked around a bit, and then stopped using it.
I'm wondering how to determine if it's worth developing the product further.
I’m also considering cold emailing by simply searching for email addresses on Google and launching a campaign, as well as Google Ads.
But intuitively, I have this thought in the back of my mind that the market is not ready or doesn’t need this kind of product, because there’s no competition at all in my local market.
Any advice?
