I just saw a Lambo for the first time. I don't know what specific type, I'm not a car guy. It was just a black Lamborghini. Personally, I don't really care that much when I see a luxury car, but I immediately associated the Lambo with the Millionaire Fastlane , and it served as a bit of a kick up the butt to keep moving on my quit smoking book.
I've been dragging my feet on finishing it, I'm so close to completing the second draft before submitting it for editing, but the closer I get, the harder it seems to be to go on. I've been a serial non-completionist my entire life so completing this book is kinda like telling my self doubting unconscious to go jump, so I really need to get it done, but that non-completionist side of me has been hitting me harder and harder the closer I get. I feel like I need to finish it to prove something to myself, even if I only sell one copy.
Anyway, even though I don't really care for Lambo's and luxury cars, the sight of that thing and its association to the millionaire fastlane has given me a good solid reminder that I need to stop wasting my time and finish this book, as I never even would have started if I hadn't read TMF !
