It has been awhile since I visited this site. I came to the realization that I have been easily distracted by many things, and I never finish or master the original. Upon realizing this, I was forced to think back to my military training: The use of matrix (s). One of the reasons why I have not been on here is because one of the matrix I used for target selecting recommends staying in school until completion. By saying this, I want to report what I am doing in the meantime concerning my future for business start up without being too distracted from school.
Brainstorming. I carry on me a notepad and an ink pen. When I think of any business idea, I write them down for future analysis. Easy enough, but I feel real tempted to progress further into the idea (this is where the discipline comes in.)
Analysis/filtering: When I am ready to determine my business idea, I will use a couple of matrixes. The most effective matrix I was trained in is the CARVER matrix. This particular matrix selects the most high valued, critical/priority target to defeat right now. From the Carver matrix, I will then filter all of the ideas (again) through the decision making matrix in the fast lane book. The final "matrix" or analysis I will run my ideas through is the CENTS acronym mentioned in the fast lane book. The idea that results in the same in the 2 matrix and fills the most acronyms will be the for sure idea I pursue.
And this will be my business filtering system.
