I guess now would be a good time to update everyone.

I apologize that I haven't been updating you all, I recently finished my first summer classes for graduate school. That means that I literally did not have time to do anything other than breath. Why am I telling you this? Over the past few months I have decided to cut out the fat with IG accounts because of my lack of time. I wanted to focus on my main accounts. So with that being said I only have 2 accounts now! These two accounts posts photos every day, unless my supply of photos run short, which I have run into a couple times.

My main account has passed 22K followers while my 2nd account has hit 5K followers.

1st account: 22K followers
2nd Account: 5K followers

I originally wanted to make a whole bunch of IG accounts to see if I could do affiliate marketing. I began trying to get things to work well by building email lists and such. In the end. I found that building theses were not worth it. I was not building anything. What happens when one of my accounts gets banned? Than what? My "business" only runs if Instagram says it runs.

What did I decide to do?
Well, I still using IG to promote, but what I have decided to do was to start building an online business around my 2nd IG account. I have created my own logo which I can post in another post if you all would like. I am buying $330 worth of product to test sell and see how they fair.

I will be using Facebook pages to allow IG followers to track the business through facebook if they would like and I will be setting up a Shopify page for my website. Luckily for myself, I have bought the website, secured the twitter and IG names so they will all be the same.

I will post on my progress with selling these products and tell of my experiences, whether good or bad.

In this thread I plan to keep the Fastlane community updated on exactly what I have in store with Instagram.

As much as I would enjoy having a set battle plan, I simply know things will not pan out as scheduled so without further-a-do.

This thread is inspired from the forum:
Instagram Marketing ($100K+ profit, 4M followers)

A background of my current accounts:

Account / Followers(Before FollowLiker) / Followers(After FollowLiker

#1 / 4700 / N/A
#2 / 300 / N/A
#3 / 130 / N/A
#4 / 80 / N/A

First account will not be running any tests
Accounts 2-4 will be testing the boundaries of FollowLiker and Instagram
I realize that people said you can like upwards to 1900 photos a day, I want to test this out and try and find optimal settings.
All accounts are aged(2 months+)

Concrete Goals:

Find Safe Settings for All Instagram Accounts(Likes ONLY)
- I will post my results for exact settings
Automate FollowLiker as Much as Possible - From liking photos to getting photos and posting them - I will also post exactly how this is done
Set up Proxies - I will be using 1 proxy per 3 accounts - I will post where I buy my proxy and how to set up
Creating New Accounts - I have read that Instagram only allows you to create about 5-7 accounts - Will post how I move through this problem.
Logging into accounts on Phone - I assume I will need to log into each account at some point - Will I be able to log into these accounts or will Instagram ban my accounts? - Will post my results

Not So Concrete Goals:

How to Monetize Account - This is the Fastlane forum. Will want to monetize, but not sure what is the most optimal way.

Current task right now is to test settings for safe but most optimal settings.
I will be using accounts 2-4 to test different settings.

First test:
Daily Like Limit Max - I will keep all settings the same except "daily like limit" and where I find my photos to like.

Universal Settings:

Task Selection:

Show Advanced Settings(check)
Scrap user - Scrape photo - Like(All checked)

Scrape User Settings:
Scrape User Limit - 40
Scrape only top result(No Check)
Ignore Private Users(Check)
Ignore Users with No Profile Picture(check)

Scrape User Query:

Query Type - User's Follower
Query - FLC:username note: This is a niche related username. No @ sign is used. Only 10 accounts were used in each, adding more accounts is possible.

Scrape Photo Settings:
Scrape Photo Limit - 2
Scrape Only Top Result(check)

Save Photos/Videos to Disk(No check)
Save Each Photo's Comments(No Check)

Scrape Photo Query:
Query Type - Relevant
Query - FLC: note: Use exactly "FLC:" this is so FL will like photos from people who follow the specific users you posted in the "Scrape User Query."

Like Photo Settings:
Like Limit - 15 to 20
Daily Like Limit - 800 to 900 / 1200 to 1300 / 1600 to 1700 note: This is where the test will occur. If no account is banned in 7 days time, we will increase likes by 100(both max and min example: 1200 to 1300 --> 1300 to 1400)
Delay Like - 20 - 25 seconds

Automation Time - 12:00AM to 12:00AM
Automation Weekdays - All Days Checked

I also want to check and see if my accounts can reach each of the Maximum Likes Per day with the settings they are on.

This will be my first test. I hope my results will be helpful to everyone that reads this. If you have any questions about what I am doing, I would be happy to answer. If you have any insight that may make this learning process quick, I am all ears. Also, if you have any other things you might think need to be tested, let me know and I MAY try it out.

Cheers

Today I have been working to automate the photo sharing process.

Today I took a screen shot of a photo, from my iPhone, and then used Instafit Free(an app). I used this program because I needed to make sure all photos are pre-cropped and sized before allowing Followliker to post. I then went onto iCloud(website version since I use a PC)and took the photos that I re-sized and placed them into a folder dedicated to the specific Instagram Account. After I got about 12 photos all set up, resized and onto my computer, I was ready to set up followlikers automation.

I created a new followliker project, seperate from the already running project that is dedicated for liking photos. I then went to add my account(using Account #3) and in the custom setup --> wizard I only clicked "Share Photos" with advanced settings

Share Photos/Videos Settings:

Share Limit - 1 to 1(only want to share one photo at a time
Daily Share Limit - 2 to 2(want to share 2 photos a day)
Delay Share - 1 to 2 (this means it will share the photo within a time frame of 1 to 2 seconds)

I then added new photos, by setting Photo/Video Folder to the proper accounts folder(If you have multiple accounts, dedicate a MAIN FollowLiker folder and then sub folders of each account)
I preceded to add click "new" and in the Add Captions window I would first choose my folder. I would then go back to my iPhone to the un-cropped photo, find the photo takers username and add that to the captions section that is in FollowLiker. I did this for all the photos I screenshot.

Finish
Automation Time - 10:00AM to 8:00PM for each day( I did these times because I want to make sure the photos are exposed at specific times.

After I finish this GO TO

File --> General --> Settings

General:

Accounts Per Proxy - 3 to 5(if you have multiple accounts and using proxies)
Account Thread - 15(I have no idea what this is, but I kept it the same)
Automation Interval - 400 to 550 minutes(choose how long you want you photos to be displaced, they don't have hours unfortunately. If math doesn't fail you, you should be able to figure it out:smoking:)

As of right now, I have not tried to full automate this process, which would mean that the photos would be scraped into my folder and than cropped properly and added to my account automatically. I don't even know if I would want this to happen. If anyone has suggestions, I am all ears.

THOUGHTS:
To automate this, I could hire a VA to do this all for me. This would mean paying someone, but for now I have not made a single dollar. This will be a strong consideration once I do monetize this channel.

Update:

Account / Followers(Before FollowLiker) / Followers(After 1 Day) / Difference
#1 / 4700 / N/A
#2 / 300 / 468 (+65 over 24 hours) <--- 1200 - 1300 likes/day
#3 / 130 / 199 (+25 over 24 hours) <--- 800 - 900 likes/day
#4 / 80 / 240 (+93 over 24 hours) <--- 1600 - 1700 likes/day

Question To Community:
Would making a Youtube tutorial of these steps and placing this in a video series be helpful to everyone? For myself, I have not found any helpful video tutorials except those that explain how to automate liking photos... which is quite basic. Let me know :)

Yesterday I posted a video up on Youtube for those that wanted to know my specific settings I use on FollowLiker. It's my first video but I wanted to try and release some content that may be helpful to those Fastlane members. I'll be posting some more content about Instagram and FollowLiker on my Youtube page, but here is my first video. Also, feel free to critique the video, how I could make my videos better.

Now did you end up tagging the people in the photos too? My goal is to make it as automated as possible, but maybe I have to realize that I will still have to crop all photos and write the content for each photo. I know for my main account I tag each person who took the photo so they get credit. Wanted to see if you thought it is important enough or not.

I built up one account for a long time not tagging people to automate the process.
Only ever had 2 complaints which I actually ignored.
I recently switched my mind set and have started tagging people as I realized its another branch for exposure.

If a big account uploads an image + tags you, these people sometimes tag you back letting their followers know you uploaded an image of them.

I am not so worried if these accounts get flagged or banned, for the sake of the experiment, but if one does get banned will the others be on close watch(so to speak) because they are on the same IP address? Also, do you think if I set my "Delay Like" higher, maybe to 30 - 40 seconds I may be able to spread the liked out over a larger period of time. At the moment, I am liking on average, 150 photos an hour which is a bit high for my liking, I will admit. When I went manual, I would ONLY like 100 photos an hour. Do you think Instagram would care about how many likes per hour or that the likes Per day is to high?

It's unknown, I have heard peoples accounts all getting shut down due to the IP. However, for the sake of experiment you may as well find out. You may never get banned (I used to follow 1800 and unfollow 1800 people a day! - that accounts still alive but the settings are way down for safety now)

Share limit - 1
This means only 1 image will ever be shared at once

Daily share limit - 2
This means I will only ever share 2 images a day

Delay share - 25 to 30
This means that when followliker says its time to perform the image share, it will simply wait 25 to 30 seconds (you don't really need to change this)

Open up General Project Settings

havKieH.png

This is how you change the time between uploading photos.
Of course your open project (like Mikell mentioned) should only be to upload photos.

You can change this to how long you want the time to be between each image you upload (mine is generally 60-140 minutes)

What's up guy!

So I have made a few tweaks to my FollowLiker, for the better. After running my FollowLiker for about 5 days I realized that my followers per day started to decrease significantly. The reason this occurred was because I specifically clicked "Scrape Only Top Results: under Scrape User section which then began to pull the top recently followed users and attempt to re-like the same photos. To avoid this from happening, I added more users accounts to pull other followers from and I also unclicked "Scrape Only Top Results" in the scrape user section.

I have gained over 700+ followers on these 3 relatively low accounts. One of my accounts is absolutely blowing up with over 450+ followers in just these past 5 or 6 days.

I figured out one of my problems which was:
If I hypothetically have 10 accounts, how can I log into all of these accounts(while they are all proxies to different parts of the country) and not be banned by having them log back onto my phone and manage them. The answer is rooting your phone. Unfortunately I have an iPhone so you can't root your phone, but androids are capable of rooting. I found a cheap tablet for around $50 that I may try and purchase. What I will try and do is raise that money through Instagram itself. I believe that will push me to try and start making cash quicker so I can start creating more accounts.

You can look into scrape bots to get content, I mainly pull most of my images from external sites and Instagram itself.

Interested in your like settings, some are quite high so will be interesting to see if you get flagged.

As for monetization:

  1. Make a business and sell
  2. Advertise for other businesses. But to make good income you need 100k+ followers which is 1 year down the line.

To bypass Instagram account creation you either:
  1. Register on friends phone
  2. Pay people to make them for you
  3. Buy another phone yourself
  4. Try to make them on web browser with a different IP but in your location

Can't understand why I got banned to be honest.

You wen't to crazy too early. Ease the account in to the settings you were using.

Also to answer the question mentioned in the thread about getting images - yes I do cover it in my course.

However, you still need to go through the images because the ones you scrape could be junk or advertisements which you don't want on your account.

I spend 30 minutes every 10 days to quickly organize my scraped images/videos (as well as adding unique captions for each one)

For Instagram:

In particular around tagging the content owner. If you enter into the default caption <@owner> it tags the owner but keeps their original post text as well. There is no way to tag owner and custom write your own text - it seems to be one or the other. Correct me if i'm wrong? I messaged followliker and they recommended manually editing each post to remove the original content - this kind of defeats the purpose of automation in my opinion. You all seem like followliker gurus - any tips? How are you guys solving this? I definitely don't want to post content that's not credited to the owner....

I can only answer for Instagram, since I have no idea about Twitter.
This may not be the answer you were looking for, @dan easton but I simply do not tag people in photos.
The reason being is, that the majority of people who look at my post simply look at the photo and then if they are interested in the photo, they will read the description. The description is where I give my credit.

E.g - Dang! @DiverBoy123 caught a huge lobster! Mad props, dude!

or

Dang! I wouldn't mind catching a lobster like that!
Photo: @DiverBoy123

Those are my two templates for giving photo credit to the owner.

Another reason why I choose this route is because I have heard through the grape vines that if you tag a photo of someone you are not following, you COULD be flagged for spam.

It very well could be untrue, but I do not plan on taking any risks, so I simply stay away from tagging photos.

Hope my answer helped!

Well remember @Rodol liking photos will only get you so far. You have to have quality photos being posted and know exactly who your target audience is. Once you find this audience, if you post exactly what people like, then people will follow. My growth was a bit slow in the beginning, probably because I was posting photos that I liked. Once I found out what was receiving the most likes, I filtered out my photo search to meet those qualities in a photo.

There is more to Instagram then just finding a good way to get in front of your target audience.

@SeanyHang This is why I dont use the Follow/unfollow method. Your getting backed up because you have followed the max limit of 7500 followers. Now your FL is probably getting slowed down because it has a hard time unfollowing at the same rate as following.

Im not sure if that is the specific problem, but I'm pretty sure you set your account up to the point where it is limiting itself.

My suggestion, stop following/unfollowing. Try and see if you can get the same results with just liking photos. If you cant get followers just by liking photos then you need to do some major overhaul on your Instagram page. Follow/Unfollow should be an old trick that never gets used again.

You have 11K followers.

Start branding yourself as an authority figure rather than looking like a spammer(no hard feelings, but following 7,500 followers looks pretty bad.) Every person who looks at your account will automaticaly realise you amassed your followers from following. Instant credibility loss.

Just my opinion.

FollowLiker is doing exactly what its being told to do. So its not the program itself, but rather the settings you have it on.

Hey @Mikkel , I'm currently switching over to the like method on my second account (looking to monetize it). I have a quick question, what are you using to see your users engagement rate? ALso @Aaron W , I have been studying your course for a month or so and it is very helpful. I pose the same question to you. I believe the engagement rate is the most important element in monetizing the account. I'm currently using webstagram and it has a neat feature that allows you to see a particular accounts engagement percentage based on the last 20 post that particular user posts.

If you guys have any other methods for analyzing users engagement rate, please share. Thanks again for this awesome thread!

I do not check my engagement rate at all. I know that on average my largest account recieves 2% on average, but what does it matter? Engagement rate is only important if you are trying to sell your posts.

I focus on what I can change. Can I create more engagement, sure... by gaining more followers. However, when you have a large following, you can't do a lot to change your engagement rate. Sure, if your photos and photo description are garbage, then you will need to work on it, but other than that, you are basically stuck.

Remember, as your account ages, so does your follower. Some people will stay on IG and some will not. Those that followed you from day 1 may not be using IG anymore. There are a lot of factors that you cannot change, that will negatively effect your engagement rate.

If I were you, focus on volume. Gain as many followers as you can. More potential eyes over the period of your IG account.

Also interested in the best ways to get content to post.

I believe that will be my greatest hurdle to accomplish. Once I get through most of the general settings and setting up multiple accounts with proxies I will be trying to solve that problem!

About time you started a progress thread...i was getting tired of checking group me ...lol

LETS GO!

I know right! I've been itching to get this FollowLiker started up, slow and steady but hopefully everyone will be able to take something away from this :hurray:

As an update, After running the program from 12 hours it seems that once I hit 12:00AM (My time intervals to start and stop the automated bot) the bot restarts itself, meaning the daily like limit is reset. Probably should have anticipated this. I changed the bots schedule to run from 10AM - 11PM (Most likely people will be on during the day.) As a side note, Account #4 which is running at a Daily Like Limit of 1600 - 1700 has a running schedule from 8AM - 11PM because I am not sure how long it will take to like 1700 photos at these specific settings.

800 - 900 photos liked (6ish hours)
1200 - 1300 photos liked (10ish hours)
1600 - 1700 photos liked (???) <--- probably will be about 14 hours

For Account #3 I have already gotten 2 people to ask either prices or location on my non-existent "business" I think it will really depend on the niche. If I do some incredibly expensive product like a Ferrari then realistically I would probably go for the Advertising, but I believe that I could dip my feet into amazon and Shopify relatively soon and see how well I fair.

I appreciate the feed back on the creating Instagram accounts, should be very helpful! And thanks @Aaron W for all the feedback in general :tiphat:

UPDATE:

After 24 hours I thought I would do a quick update on the increase in follower count.

Account / Followers(Before FollowLiker) / Followers(After 1 Day) / Difference
#1 / 4700 / N/A
#2 / 300 / 403 (+103) <--- 1200 - 1300 likes/day
#3 / 130 / 174 (+44) <--- 800 - 900 likes/day
#4 / 80 / 147 (+67) <--- 1600 - 1700 likes/day

Will keep these settings going for 6 more days. If any accounts get banned I will update. I think I may be pushing boundaries with 1600 - 1700 likes/day with about 150 likes an hour. Three reasons it could be banned(IF IT DOES GET BANNED) is:
1. To many likes per day
2. To many likes per hour
3. Liking photos for to many hours in the day

I am of the opinion that Instagram tracks how many likes per hour just based on previous manual testing I have done, but I am no expert and these are just some hypothesis I am bringing up.

Delay Share - 1 to 2 (this means it will share the photo within a time frame of 1 to 2 seconds)
Would this not mean that your two daily photos would both be posted 1-2 seconds apart?

Thanks for the update though, I am currently manually finding pictures from google, saving them to a folder and adding them to the wizard. I am trying to gather 5 new photos a day, and setting share limit to 2-3. So i am slowly adding days on, where if i don't get a chance to add more then i will have some backed up and ready.

I would love to know more on how automating this process through scraping/saving works and how accurate results are from the scrapes.

Great thread! I have to agree, the videos currently explaining followliker for IG have been poor so far.

By the way do you keep your Automation interval under file, general, settings at 15-20 seconds?

Yes I kept it just the way it was, only for liking photos though. When it came to posting photos, I kept the intervals for 3 - 4 hours because I didn't want F.L to spam photos.

I am currently looking for a way to scrape all the photos from any instagram account in one go.. so far have found some javascript code but i'm not sure how to use it. If anyone finds anything in that regard let me know.

Now I can't speak on behalf of @Aaron W but I believe he has a Udemy course about this. I believe it is this course about automating Instagram. I believe I will be taking this course as I have heard it is quite helpful, but I cannot speak directly for it as I have yet to take it.

UPDATE:

So I haven't updated in a little over a week I believe. After realizing that simply buying proxies would not solve my problem of multiple accounts running (more than 5) because Instagram will know that I am still logging on to all the accounts from the same phone, I decided that I would work on making my first dollar. I decided to take out one of my accounts because I felt that it was useless to me and I replaced that account with my Main account(6,000 followers) and use FollowLiker.

Account #1 - Within one week my main account gained 1,000+ followers and i'm not at the highest settings I am planning on going(900 likes/day = 180ish follows/day = 20% Conversions)

Account #2 - This account is doing great! I have just broke 1,000 followers. I recently set up surveymonkey and linked it to my page asking people what they'd like to see us sell. I got only a handful of replies(about 10) but it was all positive and something to think about.

Account #3 - I'm not really a huge fan of this account. I get nice engagement, but it has been growing much slower. I also have a hard time seeing myself be able to monetize this account very easily.

Account #4 - Got rid of this account. Was like 1700 photos, was never flagged :D

So I will update you on my plans and was has happened today.

So I decided to try and build an email list with my main account. I used Instapages and made a free landing page which looks quite nice. It basically is just an opt in page, there is no incentive other than they get more content. When I posted this link on my page, about an hour later I was than hit with a flag that disabled my account from following people till this Tuesday. I am a bit confused. This may be a coincidence that these two things happened at the same time, but I was a bit disappointed. My link still works fine though. The other problem I faced was that my photos I was sharing reached its end point, maybe that is what caused my following disabled problem. I just don't know.
On the bright side, I haven't advertised this landing page at all yet and I already have 4 email subscribers. I can only imagine how many I will get when I actually let people know it is there.

I also signed up for MaxBounty as an affiliate. Although A.F is not Fastlane, I believe this can get me going in the right direction. I have my one account that I believe will actually buy products from me (account #2) and I have my other account that would most likely do well with CPA. We will see.

My question to anyone is, what is your experience with having your website in your bio be a landing page? Also, if there are any tips on how I should go about building my landing pages, email marketing and/or affiliate marketing on Instagram. I'd love to hear it!

I started using FollowLiker about 5 days ago on a new test account

I am guessing this is because you started with a new account. I let my accounts age for at least 2 weeks before I erally start doing anything with my account. When I set the settings I would start them low. Like, very very low. 50 - 100 likes a day for 1 week than maybe 100 - 150 likes for the second week. The other people is that you probably followed and unfollowed to many people to quickly. This method is defiantly something I myself stay away from because it is deemed a bit unethical and doesn't breed good engagement and strong followers. I myselfhave been getting pletty of followers on my account with just liking photos. I have just broken 200 follows a day with my main account where as my other accounts are slowing getting more and more followers a day. So my suggestion is to not use the follow/unfollow method, but that is your decision!

Also, I am based in Ireland and found some free proxies online, should it be ok to use this or should I purchase private proxies instead? http://proxygaz.com/country/ireland-proxy/

Sure, it may work. Unfortunatley I doubt these are the proxies you would want for your IG when you start to have a lot of followers. My idea is, by quality proxies and they won't fail you. Something to think about is, how do you plan on logging onto your accounts with your phone? Proxies are great when it comes to FollowLiker, but the issue is still that you can't proxy your phone quite the same way. My way to go around this would be to root an Android device, that is to say you have one(which I do not.)

If you root your Android than you should not have to worry about logging on and off as many times as you'd like from your phone. If you type in How to Root your Android I believe their is some sort of download that you have to do. The idea is that you basically access your Operating System and change it so that your IP address does not get set to Instagram so you then can get as many accounts as you want and you also don't have to worry about logging in to them.

Tried to root an old Android phone for the last couple of days but failed miserably so far.
Regarding the proxies, I checked many sites and find it very hard to get multiple proxies in Ireland. They usually only have 1-2 proxies.
I wonder if a VPN would solve the problem? If for example I get this: https://www.hidemyass.com/ will I be able to either run multiple FollowLikers on my machine without sharing IP address or get multiple proxies to setup on each FollowLiker session (ie. 3 accounts per 1 proxy) ?

If you read this link, the part about followliker:
http://socialkingmaker.com/instagram-automation-instagress-vs-followliker/
they talk about using ssl private proxy https://www.sslprivateproxy.com/ for their proxies. I think thats what i'm going to do. will let you know how it goes. and as far as rooting i believe you just use your phone once you have done it to log in to all of them without worrying about anything because they cannot tell what ip you are using it from.

Also Aaron I got your course :) looking forward to going through it. really liking it so far. i have seen some tutorials from you on youtube i think as well which were excellent

I've been using instagress for about a month now on one account. Up to over 5k followers.

I wouldn't say these a noob questions :)
I'll have to be honest. I have never automated my account to your extent. I manually enter in all my photos and manually type each description. In that sense, all you have to do is just type @Name
However, I assume you are scraping photos from Instagram and then you are deleting what they wrote and adding a generic text line plus their username without ever actually touching the photo. Is that correct?

I'd try and push FollowLiker support a bit and demand a straight answer from them. You're definatly charting into territory that is not so common for myself!

Yeah spot on that's exactly what i'm trying to do - doesn't seem followliker supports this exactly though. I'll keep everyone posted here if they manage to offer a solution apart from manually updating. Thanks for the help.

Having multiple accounts in the one project seems to slow each account from reaching their daily targets. In general settings I have set automation interval as 1 second so not sure why this is happening.....

I have the same problem, I am running 7 accounts and no matter what settings I change I can't get them to keep up to the limits I put.

I have 3 accounts that are doing 500-700 follows a day, 1300-1600 likes, and they always do the follows first and I end up with like 400-600 likes by the time the day is over.

Other 4 accounts are more like 300-500 follows, 600-900 likes and they max out around 5-7 PM for me.

All the accounts are scraping users, scraping photos, following and liking with shuffle tasks checked.

glad it's not just me :)

Great thread. Thanks for all the informative posts to everyone.

I'm having trouble with automating content posting from followliker for both Instagram and Twitter.

I think I have figure the way around this:

1) First download a large number of pictures+caption (use "Crawl") and do not share photos.
2) Once you have a good numbers of pictures+caption downloaded (let's say you post 5 per day, just downloaded 500 pics and you are covered for 3 months, this is up to you anyway), move to point #3
3) Tick the "Share photo/video" option in FollowLiker, all captions will appear listed. Right click and "Extract Report".
4) Add a column in Excel with your personalize comments (for example 50 comments), copy it across all entries. Concatenate column containing your comment with column with original poster comments.
5) Import in FL (first you need to delete all the entries shown after you have exported the report)
6) Start sharing (stop "Crawl" until pictures are available).

This should work, let me know how you get on.
