I'm aware that most jobs out there, including "big money" lucrative jobs in finance and law, are definitely slowlane. I'm wondering about 2 jobs in particular in finance that seem on the borderline to me.
1) Financial Advisor/Private Banker (High net worth & ultra-high net work):

- You're working your a$$ off to build a business via sales
- You make a % of assets, which are essentially working for you - while you need to invest the money and engage with clients, this is "working for you" whether or not you're on vacation or dealing directly with that client
- You can eventually sell your business to another advisor for a lump sum
- Your TIME is not directly related to your compensation - your built-up asset pool drives it.
- You get paid a decent salary but have the potential for $1m+ bonuses based on your performance
- Your performance is not based on how many hours you put in, but rather on your portfolio's performance relative to a benchmark
