Is Marketing Management a good course to take as a blooming entrepeneur?

My parents as the typical Asians that they are they want me to go to college and get a job. They always say go medical or engineering but I had different ideas. I want to go Marketing Management because I want to know if this is gonna benefit me in marketing my product when I make one. Also student loans aint happening. My parents could pay that in cash. What do you think? Is Marketing Management a good course for a blooming entrepeneur or not? Need some insight while I am still in highschool.

Buy the textbook and skim it seeing if there's anything actually relevant in there.

I'm guessing you'll see the book and go "jesus christ this thing was published in 1992" and it'll be full of garbage.

The class will just be "read pages 89-105 and answer workbook questions 11a-h and answer the essay prompt at the end of each chapter" along with a lecture during classes.

College is for drinking, getting laid, being a liberal, getting a 40k a year job when you're done, and most importantly, not feeling left out.

I left college so I could do the drinking and getting laid without any of the other garbage.
