Hello,
Just read Millionaire Fastlane and am starting Unscripted . Over the course of the last couple of weeks the realization that i'm dying in the slowlane and a servant to a group of manager's that could destroy my life at any moment. The scary part is that the manager's could just decide they don't like me for no particular reason and then BOOM! Life destroyed!
I'm doing all the slowlane stuff. I graduated from the school of Dave Ramsey financial freedom. Got out of dept a few years ago, giving 15 % to retirement, trying to pay of the house early, and of course praying like hell that it all works out so i can retire in 30 years. I have a good job in a strong career field but the overall lack of trust among the executives at my company scares the hell out of me.
I've been trying like hell to to come up with some ideas on how to get out. But unfortunately, i'm not the most creative thinker (probably a slowlane disease). On top of the i'm anti-social and not great with people. Luckily, I found someone willing to mary me who is fully supportive and wants to participate in a new business. I had an idea to make a Shopify store around niche but I'm not sure if that can really support the long to goal of financial freedom. I can code but again, having a hard time coming with an idea for a website.
I enjoy learning new things, in fact that's probably one of favorite things to do. I love movies, some T.V. shows and video games if i'm in the right mood. I'm an above average Foosball player and currently trying to undo the damage from over-eating garbage for the last decade.
Guidance would be welcome and very helpful.
