Looks great so far! I definitely agree with lleone to have an email list set up - even before pre-orders. The more emails you can capture, the more people you can sell to through newsletters and such. If people are interested enough to sign up for the newsletter/email list, they'll probably be interested enough to at least think about ordering from you when you are up and running. You're bleeding money if you don't have one set up already - especially as it's so easy to forget a site after you first stumble on it.
I'd suggest having people sign up for a notice and special discount when pre-orders go up - that way, you can start collecting information before they are even up. Then, once you have pre-orders available, you can email them and prod them to come back to your site to pre-order. Once you are ready for actual orders, you can contact the email list again and get them to come back again. That's a potential 3 visits (and possible sales) versus a probable 1 visit and having that user forget about the site.
If you are willing to do the extra work, an actual regular newsletter could be a great traffic-getter and sales funnel for you as well - not sure exactly what you could write about, as I know nothing about the industry, but keeping a regular presence and reminding people that you exist, as well as providing value, could definitely boost sales.
