Yeah, likewise. I'm thinking of a lead magnet that only people running/managing Google Ads accounts will find useful, and super useful at that. And they stay subscribed for ongoing links to helpful tips I post on social media. I don't know whether to charge for that lead magnet or not.The biggest thing I see is the need for a reason for someone to engage.
I'm starting to understand why people say to focus on one platform first. There's little nuances in each platform that i wouldn't notice if I wasn't all-in on one platform, and all-in on one niche. Shelving YouTube for this year was a good thing for me I think.A book, a podcast, a youtube channel, a newsletter -- something to keep people coming back again and again.
Yeah. I don't really like the idea of a newsletter per se. That sounds like a content treadmill, and posting on social media is enough of a content treadmill as it is. I have in my mind that social media drives people to a free email newsletter (via the lead magnet) and I email to link to new posts on social media. Thereby creating a flywheel. Sort of. We'll see if that works or is wishful thinking.I'm working on the first 3... not so much the newsletter... that's a lot of work!
