I was driving home on I-15 the other day and a billboard caught my eye.
It was an ad for a local off-road vehicle dealership with some really dynamic images of their toys being used in the mountains.
The tagline was, "Life Begins on Friday."
It's rather catchy for those who are stuck in the "5 for 2" trade their whole lives; enduring the mediocrity and boredom of their 9-5 just to get to Friday when they can really start living.
Had I never looked for something better than what I was doing and fortuitously stumbled upon TMF ...
If my eyes hadn't been opened to the fact that I was wishing my life away, waiting for Friday to arrive...
I would still believe that "Life Begins on Friday." The rest of the week is just to be tolerated long enough to make it to that beloved Friday of supposed Freedom.
Of course, I know better now.
