I agree with everyone in the thread who has emphasized weight training. It burns a TON of calories in itself and also keep in mind that muscle burns calories even while you sit on your a$$ and do nothing, so as you gain muscle from the weights you will be burning more calories throughout the day while you work, eat, and sleep...resulting in more fat lost. Not to mention you will be building muscle as you lose any extra weight so by the time you have reached your weight goals you won't just be slim but will have muscle already built.

Congratulations on your progress! Once you make the lifestyle transition it's impossible to go back and I personally feel a fit life is the best way to live. The endorphins alone would be worth it, not to mention looking and feeling great and being able to work off anger or stress. I would take an hour and a half lifting session over a movie any day of the week.
