You should be able to switch inbetween the New and Old Layout.

I have to say it again. The new software and skin look absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I'm loving it more and more the more I'm on here.

Thanks, and its not even done yet. And point of clarification... it's not a SKIN either as I don't want my forum to look like everything else out there; I've taken the initiative and totally customized it myself. It's totally cool that I know how to do it because after all, ya know, learning to program is stupid.

I think it needs a "recent posts" section like the old one had, so we can immediately recognize new posts. with the current layout we can't see recent posts anywhere unless we actually check each forum section separately. Other than that, the new design/software is awesome. P.S.: I think I have always has a crush on XenForo forum software though

Am I the only one who's not very happy with the serif font? It makes posts significantly more difficult to read...

I'm looking for the setting to reverse the post order within a thread. I had the old platform set to display the most recent posts first.

That's not an option with the software but there is a plugin available that I should have installed by the end of today or tomorrow. That will give you that option.

Also, as a recommendation people should upload new avatars to get rid of blurriness. The old avatars were imported in a smaller size and have been scaled larger to create the blurriness. I've set the avatar large enough so you can actually READ the avatar -- its your opportunity to have it be a reflection of your personality. (I finally MADE OUT ZendDolphin's avatar, I never knew what it was until the resolution cleared up, lol.) Once your new avatar is uploaded, or even the older one, the blurriness should disappear.

Someone asked about avatar size, the default is 180x180.

Am I able to reduce the size of avatars?

I plan on having another available style with a more compact design, but that still might be a week away.

Two questions: Is the site done? I no longer see the alert on the front page telling me progress.

How can I change my speed to a custom label again? Seems to have been banished.

For the most part it is "done" although I haven't stopped working on it. Ill post a main thread (soon, hopefully today or tomorrow) explaining all the changes/differences/etc. Due to limitations in the software, some things could not be converted, or converted accurately.

As for TapaTalk, I doubt I will reinstall it. There are several reasons why which I won't go into here, but do a search for "Xenforo TapaTalk" and you will see why I've opted to discontinue using that service. (Security issues, slow, data control issues, etc.) The alternative is to use an alternate style for the forum designed for mobile, and which is native to the board. (The board works fine in tablets, there are challenges in mobile phones.) I am currently working on that.

Much cleaner, less cluttered, pleasant use of colors, buttons, header and fonts. I'm sure I'll love it even more when all of the features become available again.

I must say that this is the first time i've seen a forum change it's layout without it feeling weird at first, good job!
I don't think the change will impact your visitors and/or engagement on short term and that it will be beneficial on long term.

patience, patience, patience... I think MJ has a pretty good sense of what needs to be done, it just needs a few days to get sort them all. Also I'm waiting for Tapatalk to work again which should be as simple as installing the Tapatalk plugin on the forum.
