He already has stated he has NO MONEY COMING IN. Therefore unless he has a specialized skill, it will be very difficult not to get a job if he moves out. Now yes, don't lie to your rents and keep on good terms with them. I'm glad I kept on good terms with mine. But. You're an adult and you make your own decision. I don't know what some of these people are smoking saying you don't need financial independence and life WILL be easier if you leave now. Not a chance, i wanted the whole entrepreneurial aspect in my life but it's been trial and error. Don't quit your job if you have no money coming in otherwise. I think that is stupid, you need money for certain things. Food? A computer with internet access and an electric current? The library might not be enough. Photo editing software? Hosting? A desk for F*cks sake. Food so you don't starve and go insane. Somewhere to sleep even if its someone's basement. You can't just go out there and say YAY IM IN THE FASTLANE. You need to be able to launch and having no money makes it near impossible. I work for $9/hr right now so I'll have the FREEDOM to start a business. Because you need at least a little bit of freedom to get a web business off the ground, let alone a real estate business or chain management. Which may or may not be fastlane but let's face it, the kid will at least need an internet pipeline.
