How many multi-million dollar businesses have you built to feel qualified to put together this list?

I think @contract is not claiming such, but just reporting/aggregating what other entrepreneurs report. If X number of entrepreneurs are interviewed and X say read this, or that, that makes the list.

If it takes a millionaire to determine a good book, then all the self publishers on this forum are wasting their time.

We are a bit tetchy today aren't we guys? Christmas cheer well and truly over it seems.

Put this together and sharing with the fast lane. Enjoy!

Nevermind @contract I'm sure many others will appreciate your efforts. Thank you.

I don't see him claiming anything other than being a good list.

Lots of good titles on there, as well as a few I haven't heard of but will look into.

I think the question better might be served as..

How many multi-million dollar business owners did you have to network with?

A lot.

No intentions of being a guru here, you know. I simply advocate reading and being a bookworm.

I understand where you're coming from though.

I think @contract is not claiming such, but just reporting/aggregating what other entrepreneurs report. If X number of entrepreneurs are interviewed and X say read this, or that, that makes the list.

Exactly, thank you MJ.

My theory is the reader only knows a good book. lol There are some great books people recommend that are terrible and other bad books that are great. It's always really the person reading it and if it has been applied to their life and whether the techniques or methods worked for them. Just my opinion.

Ha Ha! I think it's more like poor people have video games and cellphones! And rich people have large libraries. Television is just a substitute for when no one wants to play a video game.

Ha Ha! well if I want to improve and re-invent my writing skills that would mean I'd have to read books. I mean some books I don't need to read anymore! On the other hand, just sometimes you have to, take new action because you have to upgrade your skills. :)

@Andy Black Yeap, welcome to the old fart club. ;)

I've a big TV and a little library (its called an ipad). ;)

Actually just spent the weekend clearing the house out. Boxes, and boxes and boxes of books went out (which did hurt to be fair). Much prefer digital these days though and also audio books which are a fantastic way of learning and great while doing chores or taking the dog for a walk. Always take a Dictaphone with me to record notes as my highlighter is next to useless now. :(

What are signs you need to stop reading books and start taking actions?

When it's turning you into a consumer, not a producer.

Ah thats a good one!

Thank you for sharing your Amazon affiliate site

If it's a good list that helps people, I don't see why it can't a) add value, and b) make him a few bucks.

This isn't Reddit or Tumblr, enough people here understand that helping people and making profit don't have to be mutually exclusive.

I bought a book I saw on that list. I don't feel "used".

@contract just wondering: Is that your site?

If so: I like the simplistic but luxurous looks of it, very smart work with the colours.
Do you generate a lot of traffic?

I think it's a great list. Thanks for sharing!

I'm surprised that "The Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons" by Napoleon Hill didn't make the list. One of my favorites.

Also "Thick Face, Black Heart" by Chin-Ning Chu
