They could easily pay 2 or 3 full time employees who do exactly the same as you for less then 15 percent of their revenue.
Thats the death of you right there. They could also go hire web developers to build them a website so i guess companies arent making millions per year doing that. They could also hire someone full time to do SEO, so i guess SEO as a business is out.
Most companies are focused on doing one thing really good, not trying to cut out service providers and save some money. This is how commerce works, you pay me, and i do something for you. Maybe not everyone sees an angle you do to cut him out but if you owned a big company like the ones he's approaching you would realize you dont have the time nor want to go through the headache.
The simple fact is most likely you dont understand sales and have a background in reading. Sales people can sell water to a well many times, and there are many millionaires doing it everyday....if you knew what they were selling you probably wouldent believe it. Im not saying Entourage's product isnt good but i also know a young guy with a team cold calling selling industrial cleaning supplies that suck making over a mil per year. Why dont the customers just go on ebay and buy huge tubs of better stuff cheaper, because 10 minutes after i saw their operation and product i realized better, stronger, cheaper products were available on ebay shipped to their door.
You do not value a company like that.

Who cares. You go read a book, on sales and dealing with people. Everything you know about "business" is apparently useless. I know dumb people in which know nothing of your "business" theories that you would call an idiot, who make a ton of money. If you want to go be a scientist go do it, if you want to make money, sell something stop over analyzing everything.
