First, I'd like to say hello to everyone! I have been reading and following and liking for a week or so now and I feel compelled to stop being a "watcher".
I don't know if it is my computer or what, but for some reason I found it difficult to find the categories to be able to post a thread- even after reading the instructions on how to do so in the column on the right ( I ended up just finding someone who posted in an appropriate category and going from there- but anyway...)
I am posting because I am getting really nervous. I have my idea. I have my process going... website is just completed today, all of my "contracts" are composed, info on my business is ready to distribute for when I start hitting businesses in my niche... and suddenly... I'm really nervous.
I am partially nervous about cold "knocking", but I tried to be a real estate agent 10 years ago when I believed THAT was me owning my own business (HA!) so that's not the problem entirely.
I am afraid that I am going to go out (while I have gotten positive feedback so far from different people, I am now going to be asking for validation with them actually handing over the cash) and fail. Even though I REALLY don't believe that it is likely I will fail.
Fortunately the fear isn't stopping me, yet, as I literally just completed everything I need today and I want to run some ads to generate traffic to my site over the weekend before I hit the streets.
It is so odd to be excited and scared all at the same time. I haven't worked in 2 years and I am eye high in credit debt(from living expenses- not frivolous spending- as if it matters) so I am virtually in a position where I need this. I don't know if that is good or bad. I do feel like I NEED to make this work and it is super motivating to run out of money. Makes you get your A$$ in gear.
