As far as being an activist, this takes a sacrifice many of us are not willing to take as most who fight for change literally end up sacrificing their lives for the cause and are either assassinated or just don't live long enough to experience the fruits of their labor, which reminds me of another MJ principle of "finish rich = dead", ie much like working your whole life for a retirement fund that you mght not live to see or be young enough to enjoy, is much the same as working for a legacy that you might not be able to experience. Don't get me wrong, the world needs heroes, martyrs and freedom fighters to keep life interesting, much like the need for the working class/slowlane to make the fastlane possible.
Thus a vote for why fastlane and politics don't mix as changing the principles/inefficiencies of a either a relatively new industry or even one a 100yrs old can be done in much less time than a 200+ yr old political system.
