Hi guys.
Thought it would be good manners to introduce myself before I start to post.
I am 20 years old and live in London. I came here straight from school when I was 18. I left my parent's house some 400 miles away and managed to get a job, somehow, in the middle of a recession with no experience. I've lived here for 2 years and have learnt a great deal getting out of my comfort zone in the process. My only reason for moving here was to get seriously wealthy. I visited a few times and was inspired by the young bankers driving around in their Ferraris and admittedly I wanted not just 1 Ferrari, but a garage full.
I have changed my job twice since August 2010 and I'm now in the shipping business. I am a junior worker for a company that buys and sells ships. I hope to work hard here for a few years and learn as much as I can. I want to save as much cash as I can at the same time (as well as generate extra income).
Sticking to shipping I want to establish my own business before I'm 30. I hope to be a millionaire by the time I am 25, and my ultimate goal is to be worth £100m by 40, with my wealth growing into the billions well before I die. I want to develop and grow into other industries (won't say which).
Right now I am focusing on my work. Trying to learn from my boss (a millionaire) as much as I can. I will start to dabble in stocks soon.
Already this site has been a great help. I have developed a great idea for an app which I think has been overlooked by many existing products, which I extend to exploit. Will update with news of progress.
