Do you remember that faithful phrase a wise wife can tell to her partner to ensure equality and stability in marriage? It goes like this: “My money is my money. Your money is our money”.

I’ve discovered a version of it for business partnerships: “Your tasks are your tasks. My tasks are our tasks”.

Seems to be running somewhere in the genes. What do you think?

“My money is my money. Your money is our money”.
This is describing a sick and dysfunctional marriage.

Should you find yourself in any of these circumstances:

LEAVE.

The phrases make me very sad.

Whatever happened to celebrating each other’s wins…filling in for each other’s shortcomings and sharing each other’s strengths?

If you have a large groups of people you need to proper define the roles and responsibility of everyone.

Finding a single partner is always about finding someone that will not take advantage of others.

If both wanted to give more than what they have received this is a perfect partnerships (Both are givers).

If one is a giver and the other is a perma taker it will sow seeds of unhappiness and it is not sustainable

If both are takers it will end up in a fight real soon.

The only lesson is
1) Be a net giver.
2) Find another net giver.
