How do you perform market research for a possible business idea?
Since a few of my projects in the past were online, in the past I've used limesurvey.org to create free surveys to gain information. This way I got into as much detail on the needs my product met without actually giving the whole picture. I then distributed these using facebook ads, targeting my audience.
This method works decently for consumer products, but how would you approach a B2B product differently, if at all? Would you cold call companies, etc?
