Fastlaners who need a diversion should check out Mark Cuban's Facebook page. It's a freak show. Every day, hundreds of people, mostly using text message slang, post Facebook messages to Mark Cuban asking for him to give them money, give them time, or give them help.
Here's a few exerpts from the last few hours :

"Mark I need you to invest in the greatest Idea you will ever see on paper. Please lets make it happen!"

I find the last one particularly telling. The guy has a brilliant idea... he's owed something by society and just needs mark cuban's money to make it happen. It actually makes me sad. People expect other people to give them their personal Cinderella story book ending. If only the world would recognize their brilliance.
Reminder. Nobody is looking out for you. Blaze your OWN path. Manufacture your own luck. Nobody cares about your dreams but you. This is still the land of opportunity. Don't ask anyone else to put you on their back and drive your dreams home. No prince is coming to your rescue.
