How much do you rely on google monthly searches when introducing products for your ecom sites?
I realise google will be a major source of traffic to your site.
After doing some research (and also something ourselves have been looking for) we have have found a product we would like to sell. The product already exist but we want to create our own brand and market it this way.
The target market will be mum’s as they generally buy this product for their sons. As the kids grow they will need new ones so we whant to creat a following and build a ‘relashionship’ with the mum’s so they come back to us when they need new ones.
The problem I have at the moment is that there are not many monthly searches - around 700-800 per keyword. There are other ways to market your products but as google is a major player driving traffic to your site it makes me hesitate.
