IF this should exist
HOW should it exist
WHAT can I do to help
If something should exist, it should be
- feasible financially
- beneficial AND the simplest solution
- not created out of desperation, but knowledge of the market
How something should exist, requires looking at how it may already exist, and the benefits you must bring to the table with your finished product and planning.
- selling point
- role in the ecosystem
- how do people run into it and what is their reaction
- can people trust it? and why?
What can you do?
- what can you learn
- who can you reach out to
- what processes can you begin
- what are the crucial actions that must occur between now and the ideal, and how can you get things closer to where they need to be
AM I angry or am I thorough?
AM I desperate or am I clear on what this will cost me personally?
Can I endure the task of creating these results?
Anger makes you careless and stupid
Desperation makes you weak and short sighted
Inability to commit ahead of time will stunt your ability to adapt
In order to be intelligent you must be at peace, in order to look ahead you must hold your composure well, in order to act, you must stop relying on your ego to come and save you.
This is roughly how to "quickly" validate each passing opportunity imo.
You run through something like this over and over so that you catch all the details and YOUR current state of emotion (and how its influencing you).
If you are clear headed, and the validation looks SOUND, you can highlight the concept and draw up some early specs and plans.
Each day is a process, and I recommend that those days always start with
How am I using my time today?
How could I be using my time?
What might I achieve today if I use my time another way?
