Quit My Law Business After 8 Years & Decided To Get A Job!

I've been a lawyer for 13 years and have been running my solo business for 8 years.

Yesterday, I made the decision to quit my solo business and take the job I've been offered in a law firm. This job will pay my bills and allow me to focus on creating my marketing business that follows the CENTS model rather than trading my time.

Today I've made a commitment to wake up at 4am each morning to work on building my Fastlane business that allows me to have financial freedom and own my dream home on the beach. I'll also need to work after work on creating my business and also on the weekends to make my dreams come true.

As a lawyer? Or some other business? Why couldn't you scale?

From what I hear, working at a law firm is incredibly draining and long hours.

I've been a lawyer for 13 years and running my solo law business for 8 years. I couldn't scale as I couldn't afford to put on another lawyer and running Google Ads for new clients for key words in the legal field is super competitive and expensive.

Unfortunately working in a law firm is very draining and long hours. But it will give me a regular pay check that pays the bills which will be nice rather than stressing out about cashflow.

I'm planning to work in a law job until I make enough money so that I can use the markets to generate me income and while I work in this job (if time permits) I can work on building something more scaleable like teaching marketing.

Do you think that is a good approach?
