Hello, I can't find an clear answer to this question.

I want to start selling products on amazon and I dont want to buy an existing product and sell. I want to redesign an existing product so I stand out a bit from the crowd.

The thing Im affraid of is that I break some patent law and get sued in the end.

How does it really work when you redesign an existing product? How much do I need to change or what do I need to change so that I dont step on any patent for that product?

Anyone know this or have a link where they explain it a bit more?
