Hey guys. I have always been interested in self-storage places. Obviously if it is in a prime area it would do well, but most likely not worth it, and if its hidden it would make sense (rent wise) but no one would see it plus it would be hard to bring peoplem there.
I have a carpenter that is willing to build all the self-storages or one to get things started and pay for materials to be a partner.
My question is... Do you think its possible to find decent property not being used, contact the seller, and be able to get self- storage units on their property for free and 0 risk.
When i say free i mean, i contact the property owner, and tell him give me 6 months rent-free to try it out and if it works out i will pay ...... after that per month. Even a deal where i pay nothing and just give him a percentage? I think these businesses are great and always have a demand, i have construction cost covered, so if i could make a property deal like this it would be free and 0 risk to try.
