Amazing! I hadn't kept up on this thread and I just went back to get caught up.Things don't feel real. In the first 10 days of May, I brought in over $10k. By the end of this coming week, I very well could be at $15k already for the month.
Double down and go all in!!!Or do I take the risk of trying to move forward faster with obtaining a property closer to the city that would cut down on my drive time and open up more business options sooner (boarding, having people come to me, etc.)?
Kidding aside, I remember how good it felt to pay off those lingering debts the first time my business was making real money. Definitely can't lose going that route. De-risks you for when you start the new property venture, in case it takes time to build up.
I thought about this thread after an issue with my dog this weekend.
1) My kids were playing with the dog in front yard without a leash for like 30 seconds. They know better than to have dog without leash, and this almost never happens.
2) Someone walked their dog in front of our house, and my dog went after it.
3) The dogs got in an altercation and some blood was drawn on the other dog. Not sure if nip, or scratch or what. My dog has never bit another person or dog before.
4) The owner was fuming mad (as he should be), and I come out of the house and am apologizing, then he says "oh by the way, I'm your landlord...).
5) So I write up a long apology to the landlord (whom I had never previously met), and was going to send him proof of vaccinations on my dog for his peace of mind, but to continue the string of bad luck... they had expired 1 week before so I couldn't.
Spent 2 days worrying if landlord was going to force us to choose between the dog and staying at this house before he finally cleared the air and just gave us a stern warning to control our dog better.
All that to say... even though my dog's been doing better most of the time on walks, and we've got her trained to bark a lot less at dogs walking by, she has these freak out moments that are bad where she is suddenly triggered. I've never seriously considered paying for dog training help before, but now I am.
I have a vision now for what I want for this dog: I want my kids to be able to walk the dog. I know they are not capable of controlling her in such situations, thus, the dog gets walked less, and my kids have less opportunities to develop independence.
