Hello fellow fastlaners, you may know me from the other thread titled "Bumpy road to the fastlane..."(to which I still post progress).
Anyway, for those who don't know, I started my own clothing company (many say clothing line but I hate that term, sounds hobby-ish). It's been doing decent here and there, have a lot local fans and supporters, for which I am highly appreciative of. slowly, I have seen more and more folks wearing my tees, feels crazy.
So now the problem is this. A lady who is the head of this local Poker league had asked my girlfriend (who has been doing an awesome job helping me) if I would sort of "sponsor" their league and provide a few hundred tees.
While I am blown away by this, I am also panicking a little bit. That's the biggest amount of merchandise anyone has ever wanted from me! The worse part is, I'm only down to a handful of tees left and I have no money whatsoever, I am still unemployed.
part of me wishes I could go through this 80's movie style montage of me doing various things while raising money (with a kickass synth-laden song in the background)
but I know that's not happening LOL.
Whatever happens, I know it can't help but end well, so I see it as a nice challenge/adventure.
But what should I do? What do I say? I feel honored to be asked to sponsor a poker tournament and I see something very positive coming from it, but, how can I raise the funds quickly in order to have some more tees produced? I just don't want to pass something up that can potentially get me even closer to the Fastlaneâ„¢
