Social entrepreneurship and financial freedom?

Hello,

I am quite new to this forum and I recently finished The fastlane Millionare book. I quite enjoyed it but I need to ask for some thoughts on the following.

I am considering going into social entrepreneurship road towards my financial freedom soon, hence I would like to know what other people thing about it.

Do you find it realistic or not? Is it possible? Is that different than all the knowledge we gained from MJ?

I would like to hear your thoughts.

Well for me it is a business which is suited to provide specific environmental/green/social impact additional to providing financial gains. The field which interests me is sustainability and I am interested to hear what other people think whether all the MJ's knowledge may be applicable to sustainability and social entrepreneurship field. I can see that this goes somewhat against traditional business notions. However, there are more than several successful businesses that operated as 'green giants', unfortunately I don't know a lot since this is something that I discovered somewhat recently and it instantly grabbed my attention. I would love to be able to develop my own financial freedom with a specific impact besides the money freedom.

I hope I made it a clearer. My concerns lie in the questions whether a social enterprise that works in sustainability may be your money tree that can be your fast lane in the end?

I hope I provided more clearance. Also I would like to hear from others how they find social entrepreneurship as it resonates better with my ideas of doing business, but then doing what you love may be kind of a problem here.

Also, since I am quite new here, is there a thread or anything related to social entrepreneurship?
