I haven't posted in a while, so I wanted to stop by to provide a little motivation for those of you stuck in the "I've read the book, now where's my money?" phase.
I haven't made it big yet, but I've learned a lot in the year or so since I've read MJ's book. I've learned my strengths, my weaknesses, where to focus my efforts, and I've learned that people who don't get it ascribe the word "luck" to everything in the universe they don't understand.
Day jobs blow. I knew that before buying the book, but MJ just hammered it home. The only thing missing at the end of the book was a page that said "there, there" with a complementary tissue (although I haven't checked the Hungarian Version). I even went to my doctor because all I hear now is the sound of cash registers in my head. I literally haven't slept since reading this book.
If you're ever stuck, push through it. If something seems too hard, suck it up and do it. Get a coffee. The worst that'll happen is you'll learn something you didn't know before.
Those who want it, get it. If something goes viral, it's because there was a platform in place. If the content is good, people will share it, unless it's porn. If people get more traffic and higher rankings, it's because they're willing to dig into the deepest darkest corners of the Internet for the most valuable information and secrets that actually work--not your Grandma's SEO blog about the importance of hashtags. If you're afraid of failure, then go back to playing video games.
Anyway, short and sweet. Time to work!
