Hello guys, I have an idea for a membership site that would require quite a bit of content. Before going through the trouble of creating all this content , I would like to test user purchase intent.
My approach is two pronged, I am going to create a survey to get an idea of what is out there and if there is interest and would they pay. Next I would like to create a fake one lander with an actual buy now button that deducts the purchase amount to see if people will actually buy into it.
So, my question is concerning the latter. If it doesn't convert, no worries, move on to the next idea. However, what if the opposite happens and it converts? How do I hold people off or do I just refund the money and say we are delayed in development, sorry, here is your money we'll get back to you soon?
Would you do it differently? Anything you would add to this or not do?
