I just ran a test and doing so (set user to IGNORE) will completely remove this thread from your purview, from the home page, from your newsfeeds, everywhere.
Seeing the mods voted 3 to 2 to close it and out of respect for the minority who see it as a scourge on the forum, I'll close the thread while reserving the option to reopen it should new concerns emerge, like when Andrew's newest book, The Billionaire Fastlane, releases.
