Well I finally decided that I'm going to stick around here for a while, so I might as well introduce myself

Hmm... where to start.
Roughly 10,000 years ago Og turned to Murt and said, "I have this idea..." And poof! a little while later I graduated from a very difficult college with a bachelor's in electrical engineering and the realization that I hated the corporate world. I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, had my financial awakening, and have been on the hunt ever since.
Things I do these days:
From January to April I work in the family tax business. My FIL is an amazing tax attorney, and I've learned a lot about what can be done in the world of taxes and corporate structuring.
I trade index, equity, and futures options. If you are familiar with options, I mostly sell theta.
I'm delving back into buying real estate through seller financing entrances and lease/option exits.
I am building a portfolio of niche websites.
I buy and sell Chinese numismatics.
I thought about becoming an investment adviser. I passed the FINRA Series 65 test, but have not done the paperwork to register with the SEC. Given the changes in the SEC rulings about advertising, I probably won't. It's far easier to set up a fund and be a principal.
Written out, it all seems like a lot. But except for the tax business, none of this stuff takes very much time.
