Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this board and curious what specific "Whys" motivate the people on this board to want to join the fastlane. For our illustrious leader MJ we all know the original motivation was an encounter with a Lamborghini. What are your Whys? I'll start with 10. Appreciate anyone's feedback.
1) I want the freedom to not have to go to a job that I hate and which I get no satisfaction out of doing.
2) I want the financial freedom to pursue and support causes that have intrinsic meaning to my wife and me, as well as to have the ability to be generous when desired towards those we love.
3) I don't want to keep working for people that are dumber than I am.
4) I'd like to be able to spend more time with my 82 year old mom in Alabama (I live in Colorado).
5) I'd like to be able to travel more with my wife.
6) I'd like to be able to spend more time with my dogs.
7) You only live once, and I"d like to accomplish something meaningful and bigger than me before I die.
8) I'd like to own a house on a beach and a house on a ski mountain.
9) I'm 45 now, and want to retire when I am 50.
10) Like MJ, I'd like to pay it forward and help others join the fastlane after I make it.
