It's basically saying that success is only achieved by being in the moment.
Personally, I think that is a loaded crock of BS. I cannot be present when I am broke. Also, the writer discusses not capitalizing on his value via the lines "I could make a lot more money than I make now, if I capitalized on all the readers I have and pressured them into buying more things. But I don’t think buying a lot of things is a good thing, so I’d feel crappy doing that. It’s not worth it."
Pardon the horribly accurate analogy but think about dogs. If you gave them food every time you taught them a trick, they would be happy and content with the negotiation. If they got free food, too, they would also be happy. But which one benefits you more?
I'm not advertising some boiler room illegal crap, either. If you charge money or some other abstract value for the value you provide, it appears to be more of an equal exchange. This is also discussed in "Think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill. What are you expecting to give for this return?
What do you guys think?
