What do you think of my idea

So I live on the internet and I spend a lot of time in forums, chat rooms etc… I was a mod in one forum and got familiar with their software and launched a forum surrounding gaming, I think that this could be a good side hustle if I get enough traffic to post ads and maybe receive donations. I didn’t go the social media route because twitter/reddit hurt my brain, I do not like instagram. The only option is maybe posting gaming videos on YouTube.

What do you think of my plan?

A monetized forum is a valid idea. Your execution of it would determine if it was a good or bad idea. I suggest you read the The Millionaire Fastlane book, which this website is associated with.

Thanks for the reply, I read the book. I believe it is a good idea as I am shooting to create a brand and not a business like MJ said.
