I write these words in a noise. It comes from the room next to me. Shitty music. Constant ranting.
I wish I could care about the things they say. About the fact that somebody out there did this and not that. But I don't.
Because I know that ranters don't want to hear answers for their problems. They complain just for the sake of complaining. Thay are stuck in their little walls of psyche.
"Oh, you know, I wish he wasn't so annoying."
"Then tell him something."
"He won't change like that. It isn't that easy."
...what the heck are you telling me?
You want to tell me that bitching about some unimportant things is easier than getting rid of the problem once and for all?
And guess why they won't leave their 9-5 jobs they hate so much.
It might be easier to let it stay like this. Inertia is so horribly addicting. I can tell - I sometimes catch myself doing absolutely nothing.
Then I despise myself. This feeling of time wasted, its teeth gnawing at me... I have to force myself to do anything. Focus on the task at hand.
I hate it. But it brings results. Well, some results it brought at least.
Nobody ever heard me complaining about things, or seen me not focused intensely on something. They tell me "Get a life!" so many times that I started ignoring it.
I force myself to not laugh outwardly. Their definition of "life" is constant servitude, asslicking and doing things I hate.
I despise this kind of future. And all things that lead to it, including:
Constant bitching (especially for the sake of itself).
Lounging before TV.
Formal education, especially high school (let's make an institution that will make others pretend they are getting somewhere lol).
Fiction movies.
TV as a whole (because all these commercials and replays are so good for people's mind).
Scepticism and lack of self-faith.
Consummerism (you don't need that another pair of shoes or whatever).
Lack of focus.
And above all...
Laziness.
I am not proud of making contempt my main drive to welfare, but I have felt this mediocrisation in action.
Look around you - the world wants you to stop thinking. All the flashing screens are drawing attention, and don't give opportunity to think. And why is that? Because the world is afraid of what you can bring to it.
Mind of a person is its engine. If it's not active, it is only a burden - an immense block that does nothing.
If active and well-preserved, it can push us to achieve things never dreamed of before.
Laziness seems natural, but it is not. It is taught by the world. It prepares us to be consumers and employees and support the creative ones only with our workforce.
Think of it - when you were born, the whole world was in your hands. You could get anything you wanted, could make others do your bidding.
You were perfect. You knew it, and nobody denied that.
Then, as years passed, this perfection was lost.
The world was taken from you. You had it in your hands - and you LET IT SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS.
If you started to work on yourself back then... Think of the possibilities! You would save potentially a lifetime of learning. We all know how capable is a child's mind.
But no! You are a child, and you should stick to activities other kids do! Play! Don't work, cause it's a stupid thing to do for a child.
You know the rest of the story.
The world has taught me laziness and consummerism. I didn't know these in the first place. And I wasn't supposed to.
Even 3 years ago, I didn't care about all of this. I had faith in the system. But now I know.
The system won't grant me future. I need to fight for it and drop all that leads to poverty.
I need to get my piece of the universe back. To regain a firm grip on it. And I will achieve this with power of my mind. Not by mindless labor which is so promoted by everyone around me.
I am Rethagos, and this is my manifesto.
Let me indulge you in MY vision.
