How's it goin' friends? All good here, loving life, learning, and of course, The Fastlane!
So, I've been around here for about a year now (? +/- ; that long, time flies!) and I was thinking about my biggest AHA moment. Heh, I couldn't count them on all my fingers and toes! haha So much has changed in my life during that time frame and for me as a person.
I'd like to take this opportunity right now and thank everyone again! Not sure where I'd be right now if it wasn't for this place, possibly slaving away at the same old game leading nowhere.
I don't always realize it, but moments like this one when I stop and smell the asphalt, I can't even express the gratitude I feel toward all of you. This is like the skulls to me at times, my secret family away from family.
Enough with the mushy stuff.... On to what this thread is about!
So, I couldn't even begin to decipher which AHA moment would be most important of all, so I'll go with the most recent.
I've been pretty successful the last few months at changing my lifestyle, ditching the job, and supplementing my income. It's been a great slowlane path to free up my time and resources for my fastlane path. I'm not saying there haven't been more friggin pot holes than I care to remember, but I've loved the curvy road.
My greatest AHA moment recently has been the source of a huge roadblock. I have been pretty fortunate with ecommerce and affiliate marketing until recently, but my eyes got bigger than my plan. It's that damn mischievous cat again! Sneaky lil' mofo!
In other words, I started chasing the dollar signs again and my performance suffered. I was somewhat successful with affiliate marketing because, in short, my approach was to link people with a need to a successful solution, which is how it should be.
Well, one thing lead to another, and I got greedy I suppose. I didn't see it as greed because IMO this is chump change, though a necessary evil at the moment, I was looking for an accelerant for my timeline.
I would have to admit this isn't the first time I have learned this lesson either, but I am grateful to report these lessons are occuring BEFORE I begin, what I consider, my fastlane stage.
What's your AHA moment of the year? (to many more )
