While I applaud your efforts, just stop and utilize critical thinking: if anything remotely related to addiction could be cured with some goofy course or "counseling/advice session," there would be exponentially fewer addicts.

I won't lie, this almost had me in tears.

Tbh man, at this point in my life, my biggest "secret" is the fact I carry a weapon on me at all times. It's only a "secret," because this includes when I'm on-site with clients. In their homes.

It's one of those "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're a good person, but I'll be damned if you think you're gonna catch me slippin."

My only hope is I never mistakenly drop it, and then have to immediately explain why I have it. Hopefully people will understand when I say, "I take a lot of trips to Chicago at night."

And unfortunately, it seems the planet is riddled with deranged individuals nowadays. I genuinely hope I never have to use it. But I'm also not trying to be another victim of "got shot in the head and carjacked at 11pm." Originally, I was denying appointments in the city beyond ~9pm, but then quickly realized I was losing out on too much money and being a pussy. Not worth.
