I assume we come from relatively similar backgrounds - from Hamza that is.

Look, I was one of biggest Hamza fans probably ever.
But... Seriously. Hamza's advice about...

1) deep/shallow work
2) meditating
3) journaling
4) self-improvement(vs improving the decisions you do)
...is a$$.

If you don't believe me read this post from @Black_Dragon43
2. Stop meditating. You’ve been meditating for 1-year and it’s not getting you anywhere, because meditation is a waste of time, regardless of the bullshit that Hamza has sold you.
Oh, and if you follow through that quoted and my other early threads you will soon discover the issues you will run into yourself.

2: your business...

1. Are you sure your service drives relative value? Your business may be CENTS-based, but if it doesn't drive relative value, there is no Need, and there shall be no sales.

Are you helping anyone so much harder than in free sources that they are willing to pay?

2. Your website looks a$$. When I've started my first "business" going after Hamza's advice, mine looked quite similar. If you want your customers to pay respect to you, pay respect to them in designing a good website.

Spoiler: you can take courses on Udemy, or on YouTube and learn web design there.

3. Finally, 150+ work hours is miniscule. I'm currently designing my invention, and I've spent 5 months of 12-hour workdays = 2000+ hours. Sorry, but sky-high entry business aren't done in 15 days with 20$.

First of all, thanks.

1. Meditation and journaling:
I meditate 5-10 minutes every evening right before sleeping, sometimes I meditate 20 minutes, but that's only when I have much time. For me, meditation helps me clear my mind, I often do it before sessions of deep work, and when I meditate before sleep it improves my sleep tremendously. So no matter what some scientific study says, it's working for me and I'll continue. Journaling: I journal to track my progress and to find out what I actually want, I make my bid decisions in my journal, because there I have opportunity to think it through fully. Meditation and journaling has helped me tremendously.

2. Hamza:
I've watched two videos from Hamza, one about the imbalance method, which I agree with, and also one video on self control. Hamza is not the reason I meditate and journal.

3. My business.
Since I have no identical competitors, I have to measure with similar companys. I look up companies that provide courses and I would say that I have a good relative value, because I have some value skews that I have turned to the max. Yes, I would say that i have a good relative value. I'm making a minimum viable product to test the market,

First of all, thanks.

I meditate 5-10 minutes before going to bed and sometimes before deep work sessions. It clears my mind, sharpens my focus and allows me to be more productive. It also gives me better sleep.
I have watched two Hamza videos, one about the imbalance method and one about self control. So no, I don't meduitate and journal because of Hamza. I journal to find out what I really want, reflect, what i could've done better and so forth. I also track my progress with journaling. It works for me and I won't stop.

My business is atm an mvp, I want to test the market. I've measured with similar competitores, and I think I have a good relative value. I'm not saying my website is beautiful, but that it has improved tremendously. Yes I will take web design courses, thanks for the advice.

I'm now at 200 hours. I've worked on it for about 1.5 months, and I'm not even halfway there, if you to, you can check out my previous post where I write some of the things I have left. Quite a lot. I have tried many ways ton increase my amount of daily work, however, I am 15, and school and family takes up much time. I wake up at 5 to be able to work more. Not everyone have the opportunity to work 12 hours. Now it is holidays, so i'll be able to work much more. I'm still in my starting phase so I have much work left.

Fonts are off, colors are strange, icons are off, focal points are way off. It will also have to be responsive too.

It took me 4-5 days of learning to be able to create this for a client:

How will you be able to capture clients if your main point of sale - your website looks like you haven't updated it since 2004?

Go study web design principles, at least for a little bit.

Also, how is your website better than default ChatGPT?

Today was Christmas, didn't let that affect my productivity. Made a lot of improvement today. Today I am finaly done with the character room. Made a temporary payment placeholder so i can test some stuff out. Made the design in the character's much better and implemented the abillity to switch between three unique characters with different ai's and voice. Worked on sign up page and payment page. It's very late now, I have to sleep so I can get up early and grind. Productive day.

Been struggling with some personal things, mental stuff and emotions. If people would look at my journey so far, they would think I haven't had many roadblocks. But trust me, I have. The majority have been internal ones. Today was a day that I just had to follow principles I set for myself long ago, and try to endure. Suffered a lot today. I'm a quite lonely guy, because I'm on self improvement and prioritize my grind higher than social connections. but that has had a toll on me. Today i got a physical journal, I really need to talk about my feelings, but I'm not going to do that in an online forum, and besides, no one cares, so I'll do it in my journal. I've chosen to spend my time chasing my dreams, but it sure is lonely. I'll endure. I'm not complaining, I'm noticing.

Tomorrow I will finish sign up page, the google and facebook log ins, which are really tedious but I have to. I'm also going to work on main page design.

Made it another day. Got to keep working. Goodnight
Massive respect again brother!

Struggled a lot socially myself as I dropped out of multiple friendship circles and have cut down on meeting many people. Definitely journal your thoughts and please do dm me a link to your business when it’s up!
I’m planning to start a new venture in the new year and fully focus on it, while keeping up with my current business and trying new marketing methods. All the while going to read loads of books as I am currently and put more focus into my physical health (Lost that since summer).

Keep some social connections going, in those rough times it can be good to chill out with family/friends but don’t make it the main thing you do.

My mistake a couple years back was that I prioritised friendships and social circles as the #1 due to the fact I knew it’d help me overcome pornography addiction. Tbh it was a mistake as my “friends” were all negative, low value leeches but I have overcome the addiction now and the time somewhat helped in that aspect but distracted my focus off physical health & business. All these “friends” are out my life now.

Hamza is a guru trying to sell courses. The content is correct, sure. He can provide some value, sure.

Ultimately his videos are just there to keep people watching and even though he does recommend a lot of decent practice. Over it all he’s just trying to sell whatever new “course” he’s made.

Really grateful for you. Yeah I've zoned out from social life due to working on myself but I have to have some social connections. In about 7 months, I start high school, I hope I find someone like minded there. Your current business, is it automatic enough to have a half hearted owner, no offence, but as Mj talks about, one shouldn't dip their attention in many different businesses. But that depends totally on your situation, so if you feel that your current business is automatic enough to grow without your full focus then go for it. What are your businessess?

Very very relatable, all my so called "friends" are people who don't care about me and some of them have betrayed me in the past. But I'm not going to waste my energy and attention on them, I have started losing many "friends" because I'd rather be alone then with bad influences. I hope I find true friends at high school, but as some philospher Seneca mentions in his letters: "I'm content with a few, I'm content with one, I'm content with none at all".

Are you reffering to the one with nature in the background, or the bright neon green one? The neon green one was a temporary design placeholder. I'm not done with the nature one, which is the actual one. But I won't spend to much time on perfecting the website, when I don't know for sure that it will sell. Which is why I'm making a minimum viable product, to test the market.

This page is not the main point of sale, this is a side page, where the user can play around with the ai's. The main point is courses in different subjects. About 5 subjects, 30 lessons each, 5 sections each: 450 sections, That will be hard to do but that's what I'll do now. I've avoided it for a long time because of it's difficulty, but I realize that I should start with the hardest. My main value skew is courses combined with assisting ai. Not just a teacher, but a friend aswell.

It is responsive, I agree that the send button could be a little smaller, will fix that. The icon at the top left will be replaced with a header. The fonts are targeted to suit children. bubbly and round. Could you be more specific on what the flaws are?

Hopefully there is someone like minded you’ll meet! I’ve met nobody like minded my own age but have online connections plus my dad is into self improvement but not entrepreneurship (except supportive of it and he plans to be).

My current business would require work still, except it’s one of those things I feel that can be just a part of my routine and something I keep tabs on. It’s sort of automated except I have to ship products myself, honestly it was the wrong sort of business to start but I have learned and have ways to keep it running even if it proves to be unsuccessful. Other than shipping products I keep updating the website & do some marketing and will spend more time on marketing ventures. Other than this, I don’t have a job or go to school so I have easily enough time to look into a second business to make some real $$$. Definitely have many back-up plans and ideas for the current business to execute on still. I retail CBD products via ecommerce :)

As for fake friends, it’s so true. These people I used to hang with were and are complete low lives. Keep it up! Found this forum so helpful in terms of motivation and advice.

Thank you bro. Your current business sounds really good, not a business that'll retire you, but a business that will give an easy paycheck now and then. How old are you and how much are you making with it? Isin't ecommerce very commodetized? If it works it works, really cool. How long have you worked on your current business? And what are your number one entrepreneurial advice?

Great talking with you!

I’m 18 bro and it’s a niche ecom business. Occasional sales but not moving as swift as I’d like though all lessons appreciated. Worked on it about 3/4 months after I discovered my own love for the product and the niche of products.

Ecommerce usually means selling any sort of products online but if you think in the context of most ecom it is commodetized tbf.

My number one advice is keep improving your knowledge and never stop, never submit to the slowlane path and you will have to succeed.

Today was really productive. First i'll go thorugh what I done overall, then on my business specifically.
- Ran
- Worked out triceps, chest and shoulders
- Read half $100M offers, highlighted. Awesome book.
- Started taking a web design course, got reminded about the difference between Bitnet and Vector.
- Spent time with family
- Worked a lot on the website. Mostly ui.
- Walked my dogs
- Meditated
- Journaled

business:
- Made two more ais, gave them personality and implemented two more voice ais
- Made a fully functioning Character switching system. Color and little text change based on current ai
- Further design on characters room.
- Made courses page, (not the courses, but the course navigation)
- Made special header for mobile (not done)
- Redesigned the main page. added courses, changed background, added parralax, improved header, changed titles and subtitles, changed colors and design of the blocks.
- Read 100m offers by Alex Hormonzi, broadly what i learnt:
1. Nail down on a market, a normal market can still produce insane money
2. Form a category of one, of you
3. Higher price signals higher value, and actually increases value due to customer investment
4. "Set so high prices you can say out loud without cracking a smile"
5. It's not morally bad to charge high prices, as long as you provide immense value.
6. Provide more value then what they pay for the value
7. Market > offer > persuasion
8. Don't price the market average, price as high as possible. Be the exclusive top dog.
9. Solve problems psychologically, not only logically.

Today has been very productive, I didn't have anything stopping me from being as productive as possible, Today I could without hindrance work as much as I wanted.

Funny how rich people are percieved as god and supernatrual beings, but guess what, those supernatrual beings also go grocerry shopping (most of them) and they also have 24 hours to spend, they can also die and bleed. The difference between wealthy people and ordinaryt people, is freedom and how others view them.

This is how it looks now (Not everything, but what I've worked on) not done.

I've wanted to try eccomerce, but it's something further down the road. If my current business fails I want to try selling websites. I'll never stop learning, I'm 15 and I know more finance than anyone I know. People get confused when I tell them I read philosophy. I gotta go sleep now, tomorrow Imma keep working. Goodnight.

Ecom is alright though already looking to start another venture as I’m not making much atm and could do with cash flow quicker

Yes, I know that a millionaire is about as impressive as an used Toyota, but it's sounds good.
I am a 15 year old guy who have been lonely and objectively weak for 14/15ths of my life. One year ago, I was the most basic person that existed, I feared confrontation and social interactions, I feared practically everything. I was lonely and had no true friends. 1st December 2022 I found myself on my couch, cell phone in one hand, candy bag in the other. 3 hours I had been in that exact position, mindlessly scrolling through TikTok until a stoic quote popped up on the screen, I don't remember what it was, but I will always remember what it meant to me. I got so disappointed in myself that I, at 14 years old contemplated life. Was this all I would become? Is this who I'm destined to become? A weak and addicted kid with a future headed towards both financial and mental slavery. I was a slave to my own desires. From that day forward, I started reading Stoicism. I started reading financial books, most notably the millionaire Fastlane and other books of Mj. I started writing daily goals, then monthly goals, then yearly goals, then 5 yearly goals and then 10 year goals. I started journaling and meditating. I started working out six days a week.

About 370 days later, I have a physique I couldn't imagine walking around in. I have an unbreakable mindset and I'm fully immersed in my own self improvement. I have grown so much but I have a long way to go. Nowadays I wake up at 5 and work 2 hours on my website to make sure that everyday is productive. Mj is seasonally productive, and I am much more productive during the very very early mornings then usual. I have worked on my business for about 1.5 months. And no, I haven't published it, the entry barrier is sky-high. 150+ hours of fully commited work and I'm less then halfway through the entry. I will speak more about myself and my journey as I continue posting. I also keep a journal, but that one is personal to me, I discuss seriously everything with myself in it, and if I posted it then I would unconsciously change what I write, as If i'm writing to an audience, not to myself.

Current short term goals (to about 24/12/23)
- Wake up everyday at 5 and go to bed and sleep before 10
- Make final pricing page design.
- Continue working on mtv
- Look into trademarking and copyright
- Workout 6 days, follow schedule

Congtrats on finding your path at such a young age. I wish i had this mindset at 15. I am 42 now. Can you share the books that have helped you the most?
There’s a few:
Mindset:
Letters from a stoic
Meditations
The daily stoic
Alexander the Great - Phillip freeman

Busienss mindset:
$100M offers
The millionaire fastlane
The great rat race escape
Rich dad poor dad

Podcasts:
Modern wisdom

And I’ve also gained many self improvement friends, I’ve joined communities with like minded people.

It’s not one book in particular that has laid my path, but more if a mix of it all. When I was younger I loved fantasy books, because in them I could imagine myself as some powerful character, and when I realized I could actually become that powerful character in real life, I would not stop until I achieved it. So the reason I started my path was because of hidden ambition within, and it got lighted with a small flame in the form of a quote and a “F*ck this event”.

done today overall:
- Celebrated Christmas with relatives
- Mediated and learnt about Zazen
- Worked out bicep, back and forearms
- Read in the fastlane forum
- Journaled
- Worked in busienss
- Read $100M offers

Busienss progress:
Today I narrowed in on the actual main value point of my business: the courses. I started at the English course. I didn’t work in the logistics, but much ui. I made the header and 30 groups and I made a background with a parralax effect. I made three tests, (not down) and one finale, one summary, one overview and about 22 lessons. I’ll take a picture tomorrow to show what I’ve done.

Tomorrow:
I need to create a business account on Facebook to gain leads and start marketing. I’m thinking that I’ll publish a landing page one month before release. Tomorrow I’ll contact a fiverr artist, and ask them to make a vector art of the logo for my Facebook profile.

Overall a good day, today I was hindered by a family event and shopping with family that took up 75% of the day. Still I tried my best, also read a lot in the 100m offers.

I saw that 2000 people have viewed my thread, insane. I’m very grateful for those of y’all who comment on my daily progress reflections with advice and encouragement and criticism. Thanks.

Thank you I will check these out...(only read Rich Dad). I agree you need a 'f*ck this event" to really want to change your life and not revert to old habits that get you nowhere....Again glad you found your path....

Alex Hormonzi is such a legend. I have two financial gurus that I actually listen to: Alex Hormonzi, and MJ DeMarco. Yes MJ DeMarco is technically a guru. I'm reading two books to "level-up" my financial knowledge. The great rat race escape , and $100M offers. I've read the Millionaire Fastlane and it was awesome, seriously life changing. The great rat race escape was in the beginning a repetition of the millionaire fastlane , which was good to refresh my memory, but what's great about it is that it show tangible ways the Fastlane methods work. $100M offers by Alex Hormonzi is more about how to increase the value of your product, and how to market it. Due to the crazy amount of financial gurus with slowlane framework and/or less money in the bank account than I (Or less business experience), I have become very, very skeptical of every financial guru. but MJ DeMarco and Alex Hormonzi has proved to be legit.

What I've done today:
- Worked for about 6 hours on business:)
- Worked legs and abs today. Tried a new exercise.
- Reflected on my life, and existence itself, and my beliefs, and religion, and depression, and purpose, and self control and smth more
- Walked my dogs with my family
- Read $100M offers
- Got feedback from a JrJohhny who tested my website
- Watched a 55min video by Alex Hormonzi about leverage and focus
- Listened to podcast from Alex Hormonzi
- Meditated
- Journaled
- Wrote down problems related to my biz, and soloutions
- Listened to a real estate podcast that hosted MJ DeMarco (while working out)
- Came up with *****-Go (Seriously insane that i came up with it today, I wrote down problems that my users might face, then i came up with solutions)

On biz:
I continued at the english course page,
- I made a course plan that I might change later
- Started at the lesson system, it's extremely complicated but the most efficient
- Made the overview
- Fixed graphical errors
- Some more stuff, but I need to sleep, but the english course was my main focus today.

One of my friends wants me to drop my business if it dosen't succeed immediately, he tells me to release it as fast as possible. Sure, he makes $1.2k a month, but in comparison to what I want to achieve, it's nothing. He has a weak foundation to his business, it is commodetized, if he want it o be really successful, he'll have to be extraordianry.

Context: We're the same age, both business guys, he is a social media marketer, he likes Andrew Tate and wants me to watch Andrew Tate's business video.

We talked a lot, but this was a part of the convo:

Me: "Yes, my opinion is that I'd rather make 1/month in 5 years, then 10k/month now. Nice talking to you"

Him: "There is no rather."
Him: "I'll do both"

Me: "The easier it is to start, the harder it is to succeed."

Him: "Bullshit Plenty of companies that have been easy to start that have become gigantic. There are billion dollar frozen yogurt companies, But obviously the first business isn’t supposed to make you rich

Me: ""plenty" nah. A few? Yes. If you can start your business in a week, it's not a business, because odds are, everyone else also does that."
Me: "Yes, and there are a million failed frozen yogurt companies"

Him: "But the connections already, I work with guys who own 10 milly+ in real estate"

Me: "That is good, but your current business have very low odds of succeeding greatly, to succeed in commodetized businesses you have to be extraordinarily good at it. Commodetized bussinesses are good for experience and connections. But not for getting wealth."

Him: "Who cares about the failures of course there’s millions if them"
Him: " That goes for every business there’s tons of failures"

Him: "One thing leads to the next"
Him: "I think we completely disagree honestly"
Him: "I know a guy who runs the same business as me he’s 17"
Him: "He’s doing 15k/mo at the momebt"
Him: "He works for a guy called David meltzer"
Him: "who is really big in the business space"
Him: "Worth hundreds of millions"

Me: "Sure, but I'd rather practice on the big mountain, than to try climbing small ones and then reset and climb the big one" This was meant for his earlier messages

Him: "and he just got an internship with Dave which is an absolutely crazy opportunity"
Him: "We completely disagree but we can see who makes the most of us in 5 years time"

Me: "He is extreaordinary, as you said it was a crazy oppurtuntiy. Will 15k/month make him rich, no but it will give him experience. I have a friend who's dad works for a guy who owns hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate in Europe. It dosen't matter how much your boss is making."

Me: "Say 10 years" Response to his 5yr challange

Him: "Not his boss that’s his client"
Him: "and with clients it actually really does matter how much they’re making"

Me: "His an intern for him, how is he a client?"

Him: "He is a client rn and he was offered an internship"
Him: "But ill leave things here i won’t argue with you i disagree with you"

Me: "Alr, that's a really good oppurtunity, but off all social media marketers, how many get that oppurtunity?
Yeah bro, it is nice discussing with you"

Him: "That’s a dumb question"

Me: "Why?"

Him: "You could say «How many businesses fail?»"
Him: "It really comes down to the person that runs it and not luck" I totally agree with him, but getting an internship at a billion dollar business, close to the owner, is not a normal occurens.

Me: "What he has gotten is something that more than 99.9999% of social media marketers ever gets. That is an abnormal case, he is 1/100000000, it's not comparable. goodnight sleep well" I got confused here, What am i rambling about?

Him: "I could’ve done it as well if i put in the same work as him" Could you have gotten an internship there?

Me: "Then why haven't you." This guy works really hard, it's not because of the work.

END OF CONVERSATION

Please give your thoughts on this, what do y'all think?

Goodnight

"New year" It's just another day, just as every other day.

I've been very productive today. But you don't care about that, you only want the straight facts quickly.
I haven't posted daily progress in 2 days, I chose not to. I still journal everyday, and the progress, even though I spend a major part of the day (as big as possible) to my business, progress is still slow.
I've read a lot in $100M offers and $100M leads. Alex Hormonzi is my biggest inspiration. Now to the good part:

Business:

  • Fixed password error
  • Implemented new backgrounds and parallax
  • Made lessons 1-5 logistics
  • Made test 1 logistic, (choose between 4 options)
  • Text shadows
  • Enable disable audio feature
  • Ui on check up and lesson
  • Made test template (not done)
  • Made lesson template (almost done)

Total Hours: 7-8, not good at all, 29/12/23 and 30/12/23 were extremely unproductive and the vast majority of these hours were on 31/12/23
Progress: Small but neccesary. Tediously slow

For you reading this, this doesn't make much sense. But I'm currently working on a course on my website for kids.

Overall:

Studied much philosopy, I've also watched Alex Hormonzi's videos, listened to modern wisdom, listened to the game.

Progress this year:

This year I've completely transformed from the average weak guy, to a stoic entrepreneur. I've developed my mindset and I'm a completely different person. I've started a business that I've gone through the cents many times, and gotten the same result. It is much value waiting to be provided. I have started thinking about starting something b2b, but I will continue with this business until I'm certain that I've reached it's potential. I've developed physically, much stronger, faster, more endurance and so on. I am much more confident, and I do not seek the approval of others anymore. I have gained many valuable connections with other people on self improvement. I am now up in about 300 hours on my business, very very little but I'm getting there.

My focus has been sharpened greatly, I've stopped playing video games, I've deleted TikTok and Snapchat, I've stopped hanging out with "friends", I've read a ton of books, such as:
- The daily stoic
- Meditations
- Letters from a stoic
- Art of war
- 48 laws of power
- The millionaire fastlane
- The great rat race escape
- Alexander the great

I'm currenly reading:
- $100M offers
- $100M Leads

Rereading:
- Letters from a stoic

I've listened much to modern wisdom and now I've started listening to The Game.
My main inspiration is Alex Hormonzi. I've been thinking about buying fastlane INSIDERS, but I won't do that yet.
I've learnt more than I could ever imagine, this year I've made so much progress
I've spent 20 minutes writing this, and I won't spend anymore.
I have to start the "new year" off with hard work.

I worked for about 5 hours fully consentrated on the business. I worked dedicated on the english course's logistics, very boring, like braindead. but neccessary, when i grow I will definentaly outsource tedious and monotonous work like that.
I listened a lot to Alex Hormonzi, learnt a lot.
Read much in $100M offers, found out my pricing strategy:
Big demand + Small supply = Big price
I will seriously with blood and sweat make this course so good that even teachers would be impressed.
I will make a limited amount of people who can access it, and a price based on value.
The more I work on it, the higher I can charge and the bigger the return on my time will be.

School starts in 8 days. That is not ideal, since school means less time working on business. But, I do look forward to waking up at 5 everyday. It is wonderful, quiet and tranquil.
I will do my best to remain productive, and I'm considering logging into the visual programming service on my school computer so I can work on it in school. I'm tired of a lot of people, and I have decided to stop caring about the social game. Why do I care what people with mindsets and lives I would hate to have, why do i care about what they think about me? I don't anymore. If anyone disrespects me, I'll tell them, if they don't listen, well, I workout 6 days a week for a reason.

Success comes slowly, then suddenly.
I will be patient, endure the tedious process and the heartbreaking failures with a stoic mindset.

Thank you for giving me your attention.

YES YES YES!!!
Finally a course of action, something to look forward too.
After weeks of monotonous and braindead tasks on website, I'm 1/15th done!
No, that's not why I'm happy, I still have very very much tedious work in front of me.
So why am I happy?

Read to find out...

As you might know, I'm working on my first business. And I won't go into details, but it's target audience is kids 4-10. yeah. I have been practically depressed for a few days, I've worked, but I have not enjoyed it at all. I had lost my directions, I was just doing something, because I knew that working is what I need to do to succeed. I have not been goal driven, all my daily goals have basically been: "continue at ****", I've just done the same thing everyday, working on making lessons.

But today, today I was to filled with despair, that I decided to do something about it. I opened up my old pal ChatGpt, and asked it to make a list of pros and cons of continuing my busness, I didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but it put words into my thoughts. It made my dream, into something real. When it said that it had market potential, my heart rose.

So with a determination and commitment to fulfil my vision, I started researching ways that i could promote my business, free ways. and I decided that I will speak at a school event.

Todays been very good. I wasen't very prodcuitve atr my byusiness,
2.5 hours of extremely unproductive work (was watching a movie at the same time cuz it was so monotonous)
1.5 hours of productive work

I showcased my website to a friend, he said he'd promote it to his school when it was released and that it had much potential. I want to go to bed now, but Im so thankful for evrythbing
Snowlava, you are awesome.
I came up with ways i would market and price my business.

MOST INPORTANTLY: THE SPARK OF THE GRIND WAS LIT AGAIN:

I haven't been motivated in months. Finally i can see where im headed. The path is hard, but at least I'm not walking blindly anymore.

I'm making progress, I am very happy with today. If you are reading this and have any advice or anything, just send it. Only reason I made this a spoiler is cuz I wanted to try it. I still don't know how to make colored text. Nvm I found it out while writing this lol. Bye

I don't know if you have seen the previous comment that I wrote but I made the mistake of not looking through all your messages. You are doing a great job. If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make your website and who did you learn it from? Also I was interested in AI too, what programming languages did you have to learn for AI and how do you make them?

No, I can't find it, is it in this thread?

Okay so I wanted to get it out as quick as possible as an mvp. So I used a No code visual programmer called "Bubble" and it is great, however it has limitations. I have spent more than 2 months on bubble making it, and not that I've made much progress, I've decided to learn Python. I will explain why in my progress post. But if you want to build something quickly, bubble works very well, and you can implement ais from openai with apis, but if you want something much more customizable and scalable, then Python is better.

Sorry for not posting, been grinding.

I have realized that reading my posts must be extremely boring, so I'll from now on dedicate some effort on them.

BIG CHANGE:

So if you have read my posts so far, it's physically impossible for you to not notice how I am conflicted on a daily basis and always questioning my previous decisions. The last couple of days I've been reading here on the forum quite a lot, I've finished $100m offers, but I will reread it until it's principles are burned into my eyes. I've also, of course, worked on my business. But lately I have noticing more and more limitations with bubble, and more and more possibillites with Python. So to find the pros and cons I spent 40 min with my notebook thinking of every good and bad thing with learning Python. After that I talked with my good friend Chatgpt and "we" made all the possible time lines that each decision could lead to.
This is the timelines (I asked Chatgpt make a simplification of them):

Time Line 1: "Bubble Fail"

  • Hardest to Succeed: Prolonged struggles with a failed Bubble MVP may result in wasted time and resources. The limitations of the no-code platform could hinder the potential for long-term success.
Time Line 2: "Bubble Success"

  • Easiest to Succeed: Launching a successful Bubble MVP and generating profits is a positive start. The strategic decision to recognize Bubble's limitations and transition to Python positions the business for long-term success, provided the Python phase is executed effectively.
Time Line 3: "Bubble Give Up, Python Start"

  • Moderately Easier to Succeed: Giving up on the Bubble project and immediately transitioning to learning Python shows adaptability. Success depends on the effectiveness of the learning phase and the subsequent implementation of Python skills.

Time Line 4: "Bubble Fail, Python Start"

  • Challenging to Succeed: Similar to Timeline 1, this timeline involves a failed Bubble MVP and a pivot to learning Python. The initial setback could make it challenging to recover and succeed in the long run.
Time Line 5: "Bubble Success, Python Start"

  • Moderately Challenging to Succeed: While the initial success with the Bubble MVP is positive, the transition to Python suggests a realization of limitations. Success in the long run depends on the effectiveness of the transition and the ability to implement more advanced features.
Conclusion:
If the bubble mvp works, and then start learning Python, that would be ideal. However that is also very unlikely. And while succeeding with the bubble Mvp and then switching to Python would be the best possible outcome, it is no so likely to actually happy. The bubble limitations are too narrow for it to fully express my idea, and while it has helped me tremendously to visualize my idea, it's not enough to take it home. And even if the bubble MVP would work, I would eitherway learn python, just later.

Odds are that the bubble mvp fails and then we end up with either timeline 1 (continuing to reiterate and working on the mvp, this is the worst outcome but will probably not happen) or the more probable outcome: Timeline 4, which is very bad since it would steal several months of working on the mvp. So what do I do?

Answer: "Timeline 3":
Why? Well, the earlier I start learning Python, the faster I make the actual website. I have since long decided that bubble would be used to make an mvp, but I've noticed how I have started fleshing it out more and more as if I'm making the final result. So I have chosen to stop using bubble.

These are the pros and cons with using bubble, and then with using Python.
BUBBLE CONS:
  1. Limited Customization:
    • Bubble provides pre-built elements and templates, but customization options might be limited compared to traditional coding, making it challenging to implement highly unique or complex designs.
  2. Dependency on Platform:
    • Since Bubble is a proprietary platform, there's a risk of being dependent on it. If the platform undergoes significant changes or faces issues, it could impact the stability of your projects.
  3. Learning Curve:
    • While Bubble is designed to be user-friendly, there's still a learning curve, especially for users who are new to web development concepts. The platform has its own set of terminology and features that users need to understand.
  4. Performance Concerns:
    • For complex and data-intensive applications, there may be performance concerns. Bubble might not be as optimized as hand-coded solutions, leading to potential bottlenecks.
  5. Scalability Challenges:
    • As your application grows, you might encounter challenges related to scalability. Custom-coded solutions often provide more control over optimization for scalability.
  6. Limited Integration Options:
    • While Bubble does support various integrations, the range might be more limited compared to traditional development. This could be a constraint if your project requires seamless integration with specific tools or services.
  7. Limited Access to Source Code:
    • Since Bubble is a no-code platform, you won't have direct access to the source code. This can be a limitation for users who prefer more control over the underlying codebase.
  8. Subscription Costs:
    • Bubble operates on a subscription-based model, and costs can increase as your project scales or if you require additional features. This might be less cost-effective in the long run compared to traditional development for some projects.
  9. Dependency on Third-Party Plugins:
    • Some advanced features or integrations might rely on third-party plugins. Depending on external plugins could introduce dependencies and potential risks if those plugins are not maintained or become obsolete.
  10. SEO Challenges:
    • Achieving optimal search engine optimization (SEO) might be more challenging compared to hand-coded solutions. Customization limitations can affect how well your site ranks in search engine results.
  11. Limited Control Over Hosting:
    • Users of Bubble have limited control over hosting environments. This can be a concern for those who prefer more control over server configurations for performance optimization and security.
  12. Limited Offline Functionality:
    • Bubble applications are primarily designed for online use, and creating fully functional offline features might be challenging.
BUBBLE PROS:
    • With its visual development approach, Bubble allows for rapid prototyping and quick iterations. Users can experiment with ideas and make changes in real-time.
  1. Ease of Use:
    • Bubble's drag-and-drop interface simplifies the development process, making it easy for users to add and arrange elements without writing code.
  2. Built-In Database:
    • Bubble provides a built-in database feature, allowing users to create, manage, and query databases without dealing with complex database configurations.
  3. Responsive Design:
    • The platform supports responsive design, ensuring that applications adapt to various screen sizes and devices without additional effort from the user.
  4. Pre-Built Templates and UI Elements:
    • Bubble offers a variety of pre-built templates and UI elements that users can customize and incorporate into their projects, saving time and effort.
  5. Extensive Plugin Ecosystem:
    • Bubble has an active plugin ecosystem, enabling users to extend the functionality of their applications by integrating third-party plugins for various purposes.
  6. No Hosting Hassles:
    • Bubble takes care of hosting, relieving users of the burden of managing server configurations. This simplifies the deployment process.
  7. Collaborative Development:
    • Multiple users can collaborate on a Bubble project simultaneously, making it suitable for team projects and fostering collaboration among users.
  8. Real-Time Updates:
    • Changes made in the Bubble editor are reflected in real-time, allowing users to see the impact of their modifications instantly.

that attracts me. So what I'm really doing, is building skills that I can eventyually sell. And no, I don't want to sell shitty scam courses. I want to sell actual value. I want peoiple to pay me much, because I provide them more value than the money they pay. That's my dream.

[Edit 2]: I've been thinking about a conversation I had with a girl in my class. I had overheard her saying that she wanted to be rich before 30, several times. Present day: She is the exact same person since we had that convo. Some major changes with me: Started a bussiness, dedicated 2 months at it, restarted it in amotehr way (python). I've gotten several PRs in fittness. I have finished 3 finance books. And I know that I shouldn't compare myself to others, and normally I don't. But it struck me how much progress I've made in such little time. You don't see much difference in a day, and since normally you only look at the difference between the days, so it feels as if your not making much progress. But when you look back at the landmarks way back you realize how far you've come. And now, I look forward, and I see how much I have left.

Oh that makes sense, thanks. The comment was the same one you replied to I just edited it. That's cool, I have never heard of bubble and I think it's very cool that you can add something like parallax to your website with no code. Thanks for the response

Wow that's a lot, as for that girl who said she wanted to be rich before 30 but did nothing to achieve it, those people will never get rich and are walking the Sidewalk (from TMF ). You are doing a very good job on achieving your goals and progressing, I have a friend that said something similar to what she said and he just plays roblox all day and is not focusing on making money or putting in work, he indulges in many instant gratification activities and it makes me said. You're 15 right? How much do you weigh and what were the PR's you hit?
