OUR VISION
Imagine a world where you had the flexibility to do what you wanted to do like watch tv, sit on a stationary bike, stand on a skateboard, and not have to move to collect Pokemon. We want the millions of Pokemon Go players to have the freedom to do what they want without the pressure of walking.

"Do what you want, without the pressure of walking"

Just like World of Warcraft. High level accounts provide the opportunity to play more content. Takes time to get access to more stuff. People would rather pay money than spend time. Applies everywhere.

This F*cking game is addicting. I hate Pokemon Go. How the F*ck did I get sucked into this?

I'm about to hit Level 14. That sounds high level, except the gyms around me are run by Level 20+ people.

Worst part is, I'm competing with high school kids who are on summer break and have all the time in the world to level up and beat Gyms and stuff.

I don't stand a chance.

By the way... in order to catch em all, you have to TRAVEL.

There are 4 continent-specific Pokemon: one for North America, one for Asia, one for Europe, and one for Australia. It's also impossible to trade Pokemon.

There are also a few Pokemon that have yet to be released, so right now it's impossible to catch em all.

More reason to get your business in to fastlane mode with 100% automation, so you can travel and play Pokemon any time, while still cashing in ;)

This is true. But all in all, this game is a bit of a waste of time if you want to be competitive, and I can't see myself travelling just for this game.

It's less fun today than it was yesterday. That's a problem.

Are these guys serious.

Where will they get enough people around the United States to come to your house and walk your phone for 10 km for the price of 20 dollars. By the time they release, Pokemon GO will be long and forgotten.

It's like an UBER service for a phone game..

Oh yeah, by the way, drug dealers shouldn't use this service because they will miss out on sales since they won't have their phones! Ha

There is a story circulating online of a gym that is located in the water. Some girls kayaked all the way out to claim it. Now if you are the owner of a kayak rental place around there, you could literally advertise the gym and get more rentals just because those people want to claim the hard to reach gym.

Or if you own some Kayaks or floaties, bring them to the beach and rent them to people to go out there.

And the news would be like,

"Young entrepreneur took advantage of the Pokemon crazy by bringing floaties to the beach and renting them out to people with additional bags included to protect their phones from water damage"

Source for the water gym, https://mic.com/articles/148332/pok...e-ocean-if-it-means-claiming-a-gym#.xIjl4SahX

This guy level 20 already... jesus. I don't get very many 12-candy evolution spawns around where I'm at, so levelling is not as easy.

Sponsored locations is apparently releasing in Japan with the Japanese launch.

This game has a neat premise. My husband is very against it, but I did install it (and then delete it the same day!) just so my oldest could check it out and feel like they knew what was going on with all of this craziness.

They walked around the block and I guess saw something in front of someone's house who proceeded to threaten them!

So anyway, no more Pokemon Go here. And that's that.

The game seems to be a really awesome step in the right direction. I feel like I am back in the 90's when kids actually went out and played in the yard, and hung out with the neighbors in the turn-about. I'll give it some credit!

I make games........ at the pace of a sloth.
If you can create a game like clash of clans or clash royale, theres lots of money to be made there too. I saw a guy post a video on youtube of him spending 10 grand on gems to buy cards in clash royale!

I could make one using a clash of clans template, but not really my plan.

Their advertising budget is insane.

I'd rather compete in a different genre with less competition.

Created a few unique T-shirts got my first few sales today.....total cost to set everything up 1$ for domain.....and 14 day trial for shopify and their generic template. Used a third party vendor who prints and ships the shirts as they are ordered. Now to source similarly colored portable chargers and other accessories.

PM me if you don't want to share, but I'm doing something similar and trying to avoid Shopify's exorbitant rates at the same time. Are you using ScalablePress or Printful?

This is something that's gonna make people's addiction to their cellphone even worst. Nonetheless, I think most people here are addicted to the forum. And the big question is : can you scale these pokemon ideas? Hmmm, not sure. Except for the producer(s), who did a mega hit.

THIS JUST IN:

McDonalds is the first major company to partner with the Pokemon Go app.

http://time.com/4417311/mcdonalds-pokemon-go-partership/

The rumor is that the McDonalds restaurants will act as "Pokemon Centers' where players can heal their Pokemon and collect items like Poke Balls.

I went out and played the game again yesterday. I met a new friend the other day while playing it and we went out to hunt more Pokemon last night.

This game is excellent for meeting people, especially for adults who are no longer in school. Lifelong friendships will form because of this game.

My gripe right now is that I'm not seeing very many new Pokemon. Catching them all is going to be difficult. It's going to require me to, like, play on a daily basis, and I kinda don't want to? It's not THAT fun.

Although the social facilitation aspect is probably going to keep me playing. Good thing I can play and not lose out on money while doing so :)

It's not always about who is right, but who has the highest paid lawyer.
IMHO making any merch for pokemon go players, especially ones that even remotely tread on tradmarks, is a short-term, non-sustainable, borderline-unethical money grab play.

The person who will make the most money from that kind of play are those that seek the right copyrights AND make amazing products.
