What's up?
I know this is just an introduction, so I'll keep things brief.
It's amazing how few open-forums there are for entrepreneurs so it's amazing this community exists. So thank you Mr. MJ for your books and for this!
Here are the cliffs of my past few years (trying to be as brief as possible):

What's up?
I know this is just an introduction, so I'll keep things brief.
It's amazing how few open-forums there are for entrepreneurs so it's amazing this community exists. So thank you Mr. MJ for your books and for this!
Here are the cliffs of my past few years (trying to be as brief as possible):
- Originally from the boring but beautiful state of CT, USA
- Left my job as professional furniture maker (I loved it but it was dangerous and I couldn't make much of a living) for insurance sales
- Learned A LOT from my team leader (now friend and mentor)
- Decided that I wasn't adding value to anyone and felt unfulfilled after one year; decided to build business to help others somehow
- Read Vagabonding and traveled Asia (5 countries) for 5 months with $1,000 in the bank (never left the US before); no connections overseas
- Returned to the US and sold everything to move to Saigon, VN
- Arrived in VN with no network, connections, etc
- Currently working as an English teacher part time, at an insurance start up part time (I can actually add value there)
- Also following my goals of starting a business: working on a business to teach soft skills to entrepreneurs, another business that hosts high quality networking events and brings likeminded top performers together)
