Most of them in this forum been this phase once. "Don't know what to do or have no idea where to start.", I am not looking for advise, motivation or anything like that. What I want to know is: how did you make it out of that phase, what kind of things did you do, and what are the mistakes that I should avoid?

Because I've read it, learning from mistakes is good, but learning from others mistakes is super good. So learning from others who have already been through this situation understand it better than anyone else.

I asked myself what it was that stopped me from starting. This may be different for everyone, but for me it was the goals that stopped me from starting and that made everything far too complicated. Because they were way too giant compared to my status quo. I questioned everything a thousand times, but it was absolutely useless in retrospect.

Okay, so I identified this problem as the reason for my "not starting" and "overthinking". The next step was to look for an appropriate solution.

If goal XY intimidates me so much because of its size that I don't take any action, what would my goal have to look like for that to suddenly change?

Solution: 0 to 1

Forget the millions, forget possible exit amounts, forget almost everything from a monetary perspective and concentrate exclusively on how you get your first customer. That's a much more manageable goal than, for example, saving 1 million in the next 2 years, even though you're only starting from 0.

Your job is therefore to create value and bring it to people. To just ONE PERSON. Only then should you think about scaling and other things (I'm currently struggling with that, but such issues are irrelevant when you haven't even started yet).

So to put it briefly:

Don't know what to do or have no idea where to start.
Perhaps the process I described would be a solution to get you started? It definitely helped me. Keep it simple!

Nicely phrased and explained. Well, thank you.
